Seven year old Whippet / Lab mix (we think) from a rescue shelter when he was about a year old. Every time we went to see another dog in the kennel, Chewie would press himself up against his cage and wiggle his tailing and whine. So we had to take him. :P
This is him sleeping next to a stray cat we were fostering last year. Cat wasn't sure what to make of the dog at first, but took a liking to him pretty quickly. Eventually they slept together on the bed and couch, and the cat would even come out and follow the dog around on walks.

![]() Havanese/poodle mix, rescued the guy from a shelter in Ohio a few years ago. His name was Jobey there, so I just kept it. Edit; And before anyone jokes about the wallpaper, that was a much younger cousin's room.

Looking at all of the pictures I notice how the dog eyes are innocent and just looking for a read on how to respond to their friend and companions. That ninja cat not so much.
Edit: Except for the two above me. Guilty of something...
