We need a version of this thread with normal sized GIFs, the "massive" GIF thing ruined the concept completely. Should have been a resource where people could go pick up some sweet GIFs for other threads to post, doubt people would want to post these behemoths.

What resolution/size do you think the normal sized GIFs should be? I'm happy to make two versions of the GIF, the large version and a normal, multi-purpose version.

I've tried to keep most of my new gifs at around 10MB which I feel is small enough.

i dont know how to cut the size down, it sitting at 28mb

is there anyway to get it down to around 10mb?

thanks, 240p gets them to around 12mb, but i would prefer to keep them at 360p
and get around the same file size - your gifs are pretty good, teach me your ways

Damn, Crysis 2 looks ridiculous. I might just sign up to Onlive or Gaikai or something just for that experience (my laptop couldn't run it looking like that noramlly).

you can try it right now for free on gaikai - the whole thing is one big demo try before you buy

You know what's funny?? Those explosions look cool. But when a game has clouds that look as amazing as JC2, it's hard not to notice those over that huge mushroom cloud. I love it!

Onlive doesn't require a subscription. There's many games you can play full versions of before buying them. In my experience however, Gaikai has been better. And I've been using OnLive since the start.

Just got a HD PVR so I'll be posting a ton of PS3 gifs in here now. To begin with some glorious Killzone 3.

Seriously still one of the most amazing looking games on any platform. Lighting art direction animations etc are all top top quality.

I slowed the gif down half speed because everything looks so much better in slow mo :p
