2) OMG you lost a lot of blood, yo! 3) Yo, is that shit flashing red? Better eat some beans and grab a refreshing pepsi son! 4) Damn son, you took a beating. Why are your hands shaking when you try to sight your gun? Better pop some pills kid. This piece of internet has been invaluable thus far. http://dayzdb.com/ It totally spoils the sense of discovery, but fuck all those people better armed than me, waiting for me to walk by so they can caps me down. I ain't here for that. |

I was reading the mumble comment earlier about the one who came in with 3 people in and they muted him. It was late so I know I wasn't there but to be also fair, we have more newcomers in here so I know us regulars can't really vouch for the character of everyone who's coming in. I know most of the good guys who play on there never really mute anyone unless somehow they ramble on.

Whatever was recently introduced with these intermittent 30-second desyncs is terrible. My group got a car and managed to drive it from Stary Sobor to Elektro before everyone froze mid-drive and when the game resumed we were all nearly dead and unconscious around the flaming wreck.
And that was after narrowly avoiding a cow that showed up in the middle of the night crossing the road. Also sucks that the times after gutting an animal, dropping gear, etc. before you can pick it up has gone from maybe a second or two to at least half a minute. Every attempt to enjoy this game has been met with a swift kick in the dick. A rabbit crossed the road while I was on a bike heading out from Stary earlier and I died instantly on contact, being thrown 5 or 10 meters off the bike and onto the side of the road. |

Yes you do. Here's a guide for installing the mod:

yeah, I don't know wtf he is talking about unless that is an intermittent issue. The Lee Enfield dinner bell still attracts every zombie within 400+ meters, it seems like.
As far as login/logout tracking I don't see that doing anything about alt-f4. I do see it potentially causing an issue for server hopping for loot. |

My experiences with DayZ have been frustrating so far. I was trying to figure out the game before joining friends. I ended up dying like 10 times before I got a weapon. I finally got a pistol, map, compass, watch, upgraded pack and a ton of food/bandages/drinks/medication from the hotel in Cherno. As I was leaving town, I see a bandit just shuffling around. He comes up and I hear drinking and reloading. He says "I could have killed you at any time buddy". I don't know why but I shoot my pistol like 4 feet to the right of his head. He guns me down with his AK but I shoot him a few times. I find my way back to my corpse an hour later and the only thing I wanted (the map) was gone. Are maps hard to get in the game? |

I was using the old Mumble with 2 fellow GAFers who are new to the game. Didn't mean to offend by muting. Just thought most regular Dayz players were using the new mumble and we just just assumed if someone showed up they would be a troll of some sort. We were probably a little too quick mute though. Sorry about that. :/
