So they finally made a movie out of that fast food restaurant prank call. I remember seeing the actual security cam footage in my sociology class a long time ago. I think that was enough for me.

Kind of a boring month, to be honest.

Taylor Kitsch isn't the lead of Bourne. It only has the third most boring actor of the last 100 years, behind Kitsch and Sam Worthington.

Renner is one of the worst actors around. His monologue in Ghost Protocol about how he relates to Hunt is one of the most terrible bits of acting that I've seen in a Hollywood movie in years.

Can't imagine him being good in the Bourne movie.

No Expendables 2 I understand.

No Red Hook Summer. Inexcusable. (I want someone to tell me how a new Spike Lee movie doesn't belong in the top 10..but 2 Days in New York does.)

Cosmopolis is people talking to each other. It´s definitly worth seeing, but as a movie it´s flawed. Dont expect too much, the trailer is misleading.
Still I really like Cronenbergs movies.

Oh and please take count of how many people walk out when you see it. For me it was 7 out of about 25.

Wait until you see it. I'll give you a refund myself if you genuinely can put into words why you loved it.

Note: Spike Lee has also made some of favorite films, so not biased on this one.

I saw Hit & Run at Bonnaroo.

It was terrible. Dax Shepard isn't funny, and seeing the movie flail around in attempts to make the audience laugh are often times embarrassing.

Any good?

It's one of the best action films of all time and at the same time the best deconstruction of them as well.

Nope, one of the most overrated movies of the 90s.

Yeah, it was pretty bad. Everything felt so forced and it was super plain.

Plainview, have you seen 2 Days in Paris? How does New York compare? I'm worried because Adam Goldberg was the best part of Paris and so his absence coupled with the fact that the trailer looks to take the jokes of the first and recycle them here is making me think I should avoid this.

Kinda interested in that Samsara, though from the trailer, pretty images aside, i fear it may lack some humanity or sincerity (something that for example Herzog usually nails down), because it looks very much like a long commercial.
Still, it could be amazing to see in a Tarsem kind of way, for the spectacle.

Yeah, I saw it and linked to my review! It's good, but the act is very scattered and feels like its from a different movie. The best parts are the family interactions. Rock is good, too so no worries there.

Trailer 1 - Trailer 2
2nd trailer makes it look interesting. First trailer is so full of dumb melodrama set before the expedition though, I would hope that's a very small portion of the movie. Otherwise I'd just rewatch the actual documentary that the expedition produced.
