I just want to know three things:
- what's the framerate? 30, but steady?
- resolution? 720P? guess so.
- anti aliassing? good? did they kill most of the jaggies?

I guess it's nice to have the ability to click on what power you have.

Looks like FXAA in the screenshots, which the game uses natively.

Steady? Lol is there such a thing nowadays? my guess is 19-27 fps in heavy fire fights with lots of tearing. That way I hope I don't set me up for disappointment :P

Microsoft published the first ME and withhold the rights to it, which is why it was never released on PS3.

I thought that was just a temporary thing. They couldn't own those rights forever? Could they? I mean, it's Biowares franchise.

Sort of want.

People (trolls) on GameFAQs are actually saying this looks worse than the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

It's 30 for the cinematics and 60 during gameplay, as said in the digital foundry article here: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...s-wiiu-e3-2012

I guarantee you Digital Foundry's assessment of framerate from the sizzle reel is flat out wrong.

Kudos to them for not releasing the game as is without taking into account that the story of ME1+2 is unavailable on the Wii U.

Hard to say without a counter, maybe not quite that bad, but it's far from smooth anyway, and WiiU version is a port so I guess the performance will take a hit by default + it's also new hardware.

They need to have the interactive story generator for the other versions.

It's stupid to not be able to start a new game with different options.

That's because the decisions you didn't make on ME1 has no bearing whatsoever on the ending of ME3. But any decision you didn't make on ME2 will effectively fucks up the fate of your crew.

Bioware own the franchise, but Microsoft published that first game. They retain publishing rights, including for any subsequent ports. If Bioware wanted to outright remake the game from the ground up they could legally do that, though.

Well, since those are the same people who said the PS360 versions of Ninja Gaiden 3 and Darksiders 2 looked worse than the PS360 versions, I wouldn't take it too seriously.

How so? ME1 is awesome, much deeper RPG elements and lots of neat little touches that made it a much more unique experience imo. ME2 was a better shooter though.

having more than 2 dialogue options in every conversation and having different ways to get through a mission depending on conversations/actions (for example, Noveria)

Ultimately none of it mattered because ME3 dropped the ball so hard, but it was neat before it released.

Seriously, Wrex was the ONLY thing in ME1 that changes your outcome in ME3. Everything else? LOL, nope.

I wouldn't call ME1 the pinnacle of level design, but it was disappointing that for all the talk of making bigger levels in ME3, they still ended up being really linear and made little use of ladders or multiple floors.

The two most irrelevant squad members in ME3 aren't good support for the argument though. Shame on Bioware for cutting their story relevance and dialogue so far back to make the deadline.

Surprised they aren't making ME2 for the system. Unless Nintendo is forcing them to, I don't think pad features are even close to necessary.

They serve the exact same story purpose, picking one over the other makes no difference other than getting the Reave ability, whee.

I loved ME1, until I just got bogged down by the menu and items, so tedious, and horribly implemented. I couldn't make myself finish, even though i really enjoyed the rest.

Same with Wrex and Wreav, yet you counted Wrex as being a ME1 choice that change your outcome in ME3? I mean you still cure or sabotage the Genophage, no matter who you got.

If Wrex is dead, you can convince Mordin to walk away without shooting him.
