This. That's probably their most obvious manipulation. They wait until someone gets the last word in then they keep calling the HOH to the DR before anyone else can get a word in.

The bad thing is the show will edit it to look like Janelle got herself out of the situation and it would do nothing more than give her more fans which will just continue the cycle of rigging.

Really hope DR doesn't get a chance, just horrible.

Janelle is an absolute idiot for not being OK with putting-up Joe to solidify the coach's alliance. She sealed her fate right there (barring DR interference)

Incidentally, the top targets in the house for the new Jenn-Wil-Ashley alliance... (yeah, it actually is more of a trio)...

DAN AND DANIELLE (Dan to eliminate a coach and to pull Danielle in once he's gone.)

Somehow they've all been made aware of the backdoor Janelle plan despite Janie being left in the dark. Hmmmm...
And they're calling themselves Team Tits right now, but I don't expect that will last.

I'm not holding my breath that this alliance lasts too long. They're already planning to throw HOH competitions. But it's nice to see they have some fight in them.

It sucks that BB has to try to manipulate the game, because I think this season has had a lot more actual gameplay than the last 3 seasons combined.

Current active alliances in the house...

Silent Six = Dan / Britney / Danielle / Shane / Boogie / Frank
Three Amigos = Shane / Danielle / Frank
Quack Pack = Dan / Britney / Danielle / Shane / Ian
Team Tits = Jenn / Wil / Ashley
Team 'I Cook Shit in the Kitchen And Stir Shit Everywhere Else' = Joe
Team Jokers = Janelle

They actively wreck it when they do so, too. Frank would have walked out the door week 1 had they not strongarmed Ashley into keeping the "celeb" in the house.

Interesting how unemployed slacker son of a wrestler = celeb whereas former Playboy Playmate of the Year = not a celeb.
By the standards you're applying to Frank there, everyone in the house is a celebrity or the family member of a celebrity except for JoJo, Jodi, Ashley and Danielle.

Being a playboy playmate isn't even special nowadays. The internet era's made you "just another pretty face" unless you're a celeb doing the magazine.

Plus the show kind of avoided saying playboy playmate. I'm pretty sure they only introduced her as a model on the show.

Not necessarily agreeing though, I don't really see Frank as a celeb either. I think BB just wanted him to stay to stir up more shit between him and Willie and that went out the window the next week.

lol, I like how three of these alliances involve Danielle. She seems poised for a F2, assuming she doesn't flip out when Shane is inevitably eliminated.

I didn't see it myself but saw it on a recap site about Dan saying something like "Dairy Queen(some name he calls DR?) is hammering about this already." while him and Brit were talking about Janelle, and Britney just agreed. I'm not home so I can't go back and watch the replay until I get home, but I will be watching everything from last night.

I really can't stand Jokers or SS just because they seem like such biased communities. They seem to drown out anyone with an unbiased logical opinion. Anything happens against what they want they call it rigging and threaten to quit. Yes I(and some others) did the same, but I am against all rigging. Those sites are completely for rigging if it helps their favorite players. Hell, just try to bring up Rachel being given the win on Jokers(I think it was jokers that was pro rachel?) and you will get 30 replies saying it wasn't rigged and that Porsche could have just chosen NOT to open pandora's box.

Anyone that requests for or justifies DR/Production/Grodner interference of ANY kind to save any player in the house outright forfeits any claim to an objective opinion in my mind.

Believe it or not, there are people on Survivor Sucks at least that are purely anti-rigging and will adjust their opinions based on good gameplay and will even have different opinions of players across multiple seasons.

Reality show contestants are more compelling when they have flaws and are multi-dimensional, IMO. Watching them make mistakes and then to learn from them and pave their way forward successfully is what I love to get behind. Deifying these players to the point where they can do no wrong and demonizing players that exercise good gameplay to take them out when it's in their own self-interest is just plain sad.

I'm not sure if you misunderstood me or if you agree...

Yeah, SS has a few and far between decent posters but by sheer numbers they are overshadowed completely. For the most part the site seems like a meeting place of trolls that basically trash the show and HG's and little else.

You need to understand the types of posters and their motivations. It's a roast atmosphere there. I've been on the site for over a decade, and it's an awesome, awesome place. You just have to take the idiots along with the awesomeness.

I would agree some good stuff comes out of the site, but most of that stuff isn't really what I am looking for from the show. All I really care about is strategy talk and gameplay. If there is no strategy and gameplay to talk about I probably wouldn't talk about or even care about the show at all. I don't really see much gameplay talk at SS that isn't completely biased or cynical(uber :lol though it is pretty warranted with this season).

The Shane/Daniele thread is the best thing to come out of the BB forum in years.

And I mean, I love strategy too, but it means a lot less if you don't care about the outcome. You need some degree of emotional investment.

What I love about SSucks is how they change the names of the HGs. Boogie -> Booger, Janelle -> Jiznelle, Grodner -> Grodshit ,etc.

Oh look who they just found in American Idol: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...HNFirxs#t=0m7s

Seeing this makes it obvious to me you need an agent and casting agencies to get cast in these shows. Few people make it by sending tapes.

Though I would agree with the nicknames. I don't think I have ever had a nickname stick more than Gnat. Best nickname ever.

I wonder what came first. Janelle calling him booger or Jokers. It would be funny if Janelle only calls him booger because she got used to it on the site.

Yeah, but you'd think they wouldn't even want Janelle near the block, especially since the option is to lose Frank or Janelle, and they've been doing everything in their power to make sure that neither happens. Now one of those has to happen, and there's no turning back

He works out a lot. If not for Shane, I could easily envision Frank curbstomping the houseguests in comps. Wil is goofy for sure, but no less a comp/social threat.

Frank is coming off in place of Janelle. I'm sure they can try to spin it somehow to get Wil out and save Janelle. Somehow blame Wil for all the lies in the house that Joe has told or something. They can out their tits alliance or something.

That's the issue though. The athletes never really do that great in comps, out of all the athletic people that have been in the game Janelle, Rachel and James have won the most POV's. When people like Frank, Russell, Jeff, or Jesse win one or two a season. I just don't think a physical threat should be anyone primary target, I have not understood that about the last couple seasons at all. It seems to be everyones thoughts the first couple weeks.

Jealous of their glorious hair. I honestly don't know. I actually think Ian is bigger threat than those 2. He could win some endurance or mental challenges.

Shane can win just about any competition that is a game of skilll. The muscle guys never last in the endurance competitions. He will eventually get kicked out.

Difference is that you can't just put Janelle on the block, not send her home and have everything be cool. If she goes up, she HAS to go home
