*Bump*, Sure, works really well with apple and dill salads.
Tragedy struck: one of my dad's cider bottles broke. 75 litres down the drain :(. And this year's apple harvest ain't looking too good (lot of damage to the apple blossom in february/march). Luckily there's still close to 350 litre in progress and about 100 bottled so we won't go dry anytime soon. Sucks it's a lot harder to grow pears succesfully then apples, pear cider would be a nice addition. Kinda hard to get too in the Netherlands. Ikea always carries it but for a pretty high price. |

To continue the tradition.. here is some Wandering Aengus Ciderworks Anthem Cherry cider that was FANTASTIC! I've since gone back and had a few more pints.

This. Absolutely insanely good flavour. Not even a hint of alcohol taste and it's better than most none alcoholic sparkling fruit flavoured drinks I've had. It tastes natural unlike most of the fruit ciders like Kopparberg. I literally said holy shit when I tasted the new Mango and Raspberry flavour and every time I have a taste I'm still surprised by how good it is.

Great thread. Drinking a Lime & Strawberry Kopparberg right now. Lovely stuff.
I must say though, Rekorderlig Mango & Raspberry is close to the greatest thing you could ever drink. Wild Berries and Apple & Blackcurrant aren't far behind. The Swedish know how to craft a cider. FUCK BEER.

I have never seen this Rekorderlig stuff in the US sadly.. sounds like I desperately need to try it.

I need to try so many more ciders that I've had. I don't drink lager/beer, but as far as cider is concerned my experience is limited to Strongbow (obviously), Bulmers, Gaymers, Magners, Aspalls, and Stowford Press.
The thread blew my mind when I saw that USA do hot cider, but then I found out you guys have non-alcoholic ciders too. This is a crazy world we live in. |

Bought a bottle of Samuel Smith's last night ($4 for about 19 oz). Was not bad but a bit too dry for my tastes. I much prefer a hint of sweetness.
