I have been waiting for this.

As much as I love Cryengine 3 I really wanted to play with CD Projekt tools and make my own witcher adventures.

Because there was not enough monster contracts in The Witcher 2.

CD Projekt RED will be attending this years Gamescom which takes place in Cologne, Germany next week. We will be hosting a series of behind closed doors, exclusive media presentations where we will be showing the REDkit, a long-awaited set of tools for modders which will allow any player to create their own content for the PC version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, such as new, non-linear adventures, great looking locations and much more. CD Projekt RED’s recruitment team will also be present in Cologne so make sure to stop by the E60 booth in Hall 10 and have a look at our most recent job openings. Everyone who’s planning on beginning their journey in the game development industry, should come by and see what are the requirements to join our studio.

Oh these guys are incredible, I wonder how versatile is and if you could make it to create mods that are unlike The Witcher 2 and give them a different theme and characters. I'd assume so, because you get some limitations if you are stuck to Geralt while you can't have custom dialogue.

This sounds great, although I never finished the game. I got up to Act 3 and got completely lost with the storyline after playing it on and off.

Actually, there is already an utility to streamline save management.

I already used two different utility, one was this http://www.gog.com/en/forum/the_witc..._utility/page1 and the other is savegame manager that I founded at nexusmods, both give the possibility to delete your savegame but not to management them well ingame and after I reach 4gb+ of save the load time of every area just triplicate.

Anyways, looking forward to seeing what people do with this. A few of the fan made mini-campaigns that came with TW1:EE were pretty decent, but the lack of voice acting hurt.

Nice! And good timing. I've been reading the first novel and was just thinking it was time to do another playthrough and choose Roche this time; my first time through, my gut told me Iorveth and I went with it. I don't regret it or anything, but the former is an interesting character and I would like to see that part of the story, too.
