I realized that it kinda sounded like a critic of psychology, but I just meant that in this particular context (a psychologist trying to explain a non-neurological biological activity).

I'm studying to become one myself :p
 
This is such bullshit. as a psychologist myself, I hate press like this that makes my profession look like a bunch of idiots. I do not have medical training, but I do have scientific training, so the idea that a woman's body if specifically reacting to the man's sperm is crazy. If that were true, any time a woman has sex and is exposed to semen, she would get nauseous. This would clearly lead to the end of the human race.

If there is any weight to the research, the relief from nausea is probably due to the endorphins released during sex.
 
I originally read the title as "motion sickness" and thought "fuck yeah, I'm gonna do some donuts next time I'm in the car with my girlfriend"
