Yes they will, they always have a slot at the closing ceremony for the next hosts, and it was mentioned in an article that I read (here) where some of the supposed artists for the ceremony were mentioned, including George Michael, Spice Girls, Annie Lennox, Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, Madness, Adele, Pet Shop Boys, David Bowie, Elton John, Take That, Rolling Stones and Kate Bush. Some of it sounds as bizarre(A giant inflatable octopus and nuns on rollerskates!) and British as the opening ceremony, so expect lots of 'WTF?' on here.
