BTW, Style Savvy was a genuinely good game. I remember asking in 2009 how the gaming media would review it since most don't have the staff interest and it'd be awkward to see a bunch of manly-men trying to review a game that was clearly targeted at girls. The answer was most just pretended it never existed and never reviewed it and barely wrote anything about it. It really exposed the sad state of the industry for me. A game for females (and confident males!) that was both good and doesn't assume you're 6 years old and the media ignored it. The first also made extensive use of DLC for a DS title, I wonder what their plans are for this one? |

I enjoyed the first one, though it kinda grew old after too long. But my wife and kids, holy shit, they've been playing the hell out of the first game the last few months. Because they all wanted to play it so much, we ended up buying three copies. At least it was somewhat cheap used. I have no doubt they'll lose their shit over the new one.

It gets repetitive if you play it for too long but it's a good concept. People come to your store looking for things and based on personality traits and what they are currently wearing you make recommendations for them based on the items your store carries. You eventually build up more influence on what direction you want your store to go. It should be pointed out it's not a fashion design game since a lot of people mistake it for that, it's about building your own boutique store from styles you like among the games brands and items.

Yes, it's an actual good effort at a fashion game. My girlfriend really loved the first one and I'm going to buy her this. Maybe play it for a bit if it supports multiple saves.

Any reason why Nintendo wouldn't use the Girls Mode trailer from last week for this too? I'm not seeing anything in that trailer that would justify the changes made to it for this. I know this is nitpicking but, some of the changes are rather weird and bug me. Even the music is different. Also, the comments section makes me sad. :(

Really excited.
Nice that male fashions are supported this time around. Not feeling the music though. |

I've always heard good things about Style Savvy but was never really sure if people were being honest or if they were bsing people. If true I might have to take a chance on it. Is it just the clothing or are there other options. Making it seem more The Sims-ish in a way?

Yes, I was referring to those comments. The hateful ones at least.
