I think a new Zelda is on par with GTA 5 or HL3 in terms of scope and the the excitement it would generate.

Don't they always advertise one game thoroughly while teasing a another one? Like Max Payne 3/ GTA V or LA Noire/Max Payne 3?

I think you're overstating the popularity of Zelda. Skyward Sold was "only" at ~3.5m as of April -- that's almost half a year after release.

If not, then maybe this upcoming Sucker Punch game that Sony's about to reveal at Gamescom? It's pretty much guaranteed and stated that it has something to do with Gamescom, right?

Max Payne 3 disappeared for about 2 years after its announcement in 2009.

I don't think they got really going on Max Payne 3 until a couple months after L.A Noire. The first trailer for MP3 came out in September of last year.

Doesn´t have to be exclusive at gamescom. NDA ends one hour ( if I counted corecltly ) before Gamescom opens. Seems like a trend to me anyway. Almost all of the E3 trailers this year were shown one or two days early.

I´m pretty sure that the reveal in GI will be followed by a first trailer at Gamescom.
