It sounds sort of like early Avril Lavigne to me...I guess that could be a compliment or an insult depending on how you look at it. How complicated.

Kelly Clarkson - 'Get Up'. Kind of basic for a Kelly Clarkson anthem, but it's still a Kelly Clarkson anthem so you know it's catchy as hell.

Alphabeat - 'Love Sea'. Alphabeat really are the masters of feel-good pop, and this song does nothing to prove otherwise. I kind of hear traces of Whitney's 'How Will I Know' in this song.

Kate Bush - 'Running Up That Hill (2012 Remix)'. – This rerecording is possibly the most exciting thing to come out the Olympics. It’s not an extreme departure from the iconic original- just a classy reworking with her more mature vocals.

Naughty Boy - 'Wonder (feat. Emeli Sandé)'. From Naughty Boy's upcoming concept album Hotel Cabana. Super cute song, tbh. Thanks to Leona for posting about it.

Nelly Furtado - 'Parking Lot'. Produced by Darkchild. Well...I suppose it's better than 'Big Hoops'. This actually might be the worst thing ever.

Cassie- 'Balcony'. From her soon-to-be released mixtape, Rock-A-Bye Baby.
