It's so obvious but I never thought about a Dreamcast port getting a Virtual VMU with the WiiU pad. I don't know why exactly but the thought of that make me giddy. :) |

I looked at some of Sega's games that will be coming out this fall (closer to when Wii U might launch)
Jet Set Radio (Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, Microsoft Windows) Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, PC) Nights into Dreams... (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, PC) Sonic Adventure 2 (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade) The Cave (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, PC) <--- This comes out 2013 I think. There had been talks about Hell Yeah possibly coming to the Wii U: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/blog/29746 Quote from NintendoWorldReport.com

I'm really hyped about Wii U's eShop, it's getting tons of praise and even Sega is praising it. Wii U event will be glorious(if they don't reveal it before with a Nintendo Direct). |

Not anything too special, but one of my Tweeps pointed out that Umbra engine is now available on Wii U
Powers ME 4 and Guild Wars 2 http://www.umbrasoftware.com/en/2012...wii-u-partner/ |

Edit, just read the basic overview. Sounds like a stand-alone optimisation tool

Aiight, up to speed now. Wonder if Nintendo will include this in their free SDK tools with the Havok jollop and what not.

Wastes hours checking old Famitsu software data, but that's why we love him.

Like I said, just act reasonable and do not troll or personally attack and you will be fine. |

Wouldn't you just believe me on the word? :P It was when it jumped out that, according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemont, developing for Wii U is not expensive. |

would totally do this old lady if his wife were guaranteed not to find out.

(Decided that I'm going back to school for my doctorate in Urban Planning, woo hoo!) But I'll be around more as we draw closer and closer. :) |

Let's assume Wii U is twice as powerful as an Xbox 360, there will be no game which blows away the likes of Uncharted 3, Gears 3 ect on Wii U until developers really get to grips with the system a year to 18 months after launch by which time both PS4 and 720 will be out. Once the argument goes from Wii U is actually not 'on par' with PS3 and 360 they will simply shift the focus to it being up to three times less powerful than PS4 / 720. I stopped trying to defend Nintendo to 'mature' / 'core' gamers a long time ago, esp online. Ignore them and enjoy the first of the next gen consoles in November, the first HD Nintendo console with a proper online community and a tablet controller along with fantastic games like NSMB U, Nintendo Land, Pikmin 3, Zombi U, Lego City and P-100 ect in the months to come. They will be playing the 5th Halo of the generation and cheap rip off's of Mario Kart and Smash Bros...

And using multipliers to boot. I maintain that it's still the worst way to judge a system's power and how it holds up compared to other boxes. Let's keep talking about Skies of Arcadia instead :) |

I think thundermonkey summed it up pretty well. The power gap between the wii u and the nextbox/ps4 will be similar to the gap between the panasonic m2/dreamcast (in the wii u's case) to the xbox/wii (ps4/nextbox's case) and im ok with that. In terms of multipliers though it would be pretty hard to say
