as much as I love Donna and as happy I am to have her back, I hate how the show has no balls. They just brought her back like that? She committed a felon (whether or not intentional) and put Harvey and the firm at risk. Instead the entire ordeal was just swept under the rug? Too bad it isn't playing out like the theory one of you guys talked about a page or two back where Hardman planted the evidence in hopes of getting Harvey fired... |

Another great episode. The case of the week seemed kind of unnecessary with all of the other stuff going on but that's fine, I had no real problems with it. Glad to see Donna back but she came back a little too easily. They better not start up Mike/Rachel shit again, unless they go all out with Mike telling her his secret because otherwise it'll probably just end the same. I guess they could write out Rachel while she goes to law school, which I honestly wouldn't mind at this point as long as they bring in some other hot paralegal to replace her. Mike's grandmother passing hit me hard, as my grandmother also passed away recently :( Again, Louis was one of the highlights of this week - neither of the two really deserve his vote, IMO. Jessica never fully appreciated him and Daniel is clearly just using Louis however he sees fit (between using him as coverup and the all too well timed promotion). I think the obvious direction to go at this point is where Hardman will win the vote as Jessica/Harvey attempt to get rid of him in the second half of the season but we'll see what happens this week.
Excited to see where the finale goes, and I'm also extremely glad that we don't have to wait a year for more episodes! |

I don't think Jessica should be called out for not making Louis Senior Partner before. The dude is talented, sure, that's why hes the Junior Partner. Harvey is known as the best closer in the city, and he just got promoted. Louis needs to suck it up and wait.
Wait, was Harvey promoted to Sr in season 1? Or was that another show..because now I remember his deal with Jessica 5 years ago to become Sr Partner after figuring out the embezzling. |

That's for senior partner. Happened in the first episode. In that Rewind episode he was an associate and then became junior partner.

Ah ok, thanks guys, thought I was going crazy. Louis needs to calm the fuck down then. Boo hoo the best closer in the town, one of (in this universe) the most respected lawyers in the city, made senior partner before me. I love the show and Louis's character normally, but it seems a bit much to me right now. Especially with Louis not being able to see the plan at first and saying "HE SEES ME!!!"

100% agree. I just don't like what they are doing with his character in the last episode. Really makes him come across as weak, after we've seen countless times that he isn't, and can be a shark when needed.

It shows his need for acceptance into the Jessica - Harvey - Donna - Mike circle.

I don't think what happened in this episode is out of character for Louis. He can be agressive when he wants, but he's always wanted acceptance which he has never had. As soon as Hardman came in and made him senior partner he felt that he was recognized.

Fuckin' glorious.
Badass. Man, it sucks that Mike's grandmas passed away. What the fuck Suits producers? Next week looks like Mike is going on a bender or something. Man, it feels like Louis is in the right this whole time. Everyone above or equal to him in the firm just treats him like shit. Next week's gonna be intense. |
