This was pretty awesome though its merely fan fiction LOL.

Everything plus the kitchen sink was thrown in this in regards to the series and the references are plenty. Also most of the stuff feels like stuff that would happen if they left off after GT and it would be somewhat logical (though there were a few that were cringeworthy imo) I also actually dug the explanation that was given for Goku's fate at the end and how it continues/plays a part in this story.


Sadly the "end" was massive cockblock, but it was kinda fun until it lasted imo.

This is enjoyable stuff. Basically Ohtaka's humorous asides in Magi as a series, instead of a sideshow. The shonen potential keeps expanding and the comedy is nice and lewd, without a constant train of references being used as a crutch.

It was but other from trolling i think some fans really wanted it to be true. Went so far that someone made this, gave it some actual thought and even aped the art style to the point you could have sworn it was Toriyama (when it showed a certain person again i was like "holy shit!!!")

Just when I thought One Piece has been getting boring (I don't mean action. I mean character interactions and emotional weight), we get a chapter where Zoro tells Luffy to quit dicking around - awesome moment - and typical Luffy doing things with pure joy and ownage. I love it. Oda is still the master.

You know, this is just a random tangent, but for some whacky reason I am afraid I won't still be alive by the time Oda finishes One Piece. I mean, how long will he stretch his story? And even if he is done with it, I doubt the publisher will stop harassing him to continue One Piece considering the massive amount of success and money it enjoys--just like Toriyama with Dragon Ball.

I mean, let us say we make an approximation, on what percentage the story of One Piece really is now in terms of nearing its ending? 50%? I daresay it's even lower than that..., my guesstimate is around 30% to 40%. At times it feels like One Piece is so.... endless.

Well, at the very least I enjoy it much, much more than stuff like Detective Conan (undisputed filler King) or Hajime no Ippo (can't understand why folks calling it one of the best sport mangas there is, but that is for another matter.)

Junya is really a great main character. He's way more obsessed than his brother, as he's shown in this volume that he'll do anything to find out info/get revenge/stop Inukai personally.
The latest villains inserted are, in their own ways, more over the top than most of the characters shown so far and are also pretty sick, so I can't wait to see them get taken out, hopefully by Cicada.

Also, speaking of this series, I hope the spin-off Waltz gets picked up. Grasshopper was picked up and I bought the first volume this month, but I want the one centered on Cicada.

Umm there's a HUGE difference between realistic characters/storylines and realistic setting. Realistic characters/storylines doesn't have to do with it being realistic whatsoever, just realistic in the realms of the story and world it's in. No one (including myself) ever complains about how unrealistic the jutsu are in Narutu, because that would be dumb and defeat the entire purpose of it being a fictional setting with fictional rules. It's when Naruto and Bleach goes against this completely, and poses completely unreasonable character developments that make no sense whatsoever, becomes "unrealistic." There's a very severe difference here that people aren't understanding.

It's a cartoon/comic. It doesn't have to make sense, period. Don't overthink these things. The criticism becomes irritating after a while. These things are written for teens. Have fun with it. PEACE.
