Anyone hear about this or watch? Long but interesting. Ties a lot of things together. 2012? Age of Aquarius or upcoming world war because of debt that no nations will ever pay back? That ones mine not necessarily what the movie is about :-) Http://www.thrivemovement.com

How are the oil companies, hell any energy company going to make money if energy becomes unlimited? Humankind would be free to do so much more with life but instead they'd rather keep us trapped in debt.

Here is a fun game, just skip randomly around the video for 2 second clips, everything about it is amazing. The banks are stealing...Corporations are evil...Aliens are...Harmonious infinite energy.
EDIT: Also, fantastic credits music, absolutely fantastic.

Here's a little pro-tip for you guys: If you come across a film given away for free on Youtube that chronicles some conspiracy or promises to uncover the "truth" about what's really going on, it's a crock of bullshit.
It's a pretty good racket. Pretend to expose the elite and play into the fears of the common man. You produce a decent-looking documentary and give it out for free to make them believe it really is for their betterment but then you tell them to spread the word by donating large sums of money, purchasing overpriced DVDs, soundtracks, clothing and future "truth" documentaries. It's all disgusting and if these events were really happening and as serious as they're presented, why would the elite bogeymen allow them on one of the biggest websites in the world? |

They catch plenty of gullible fence-sitters who might agree with a few of the underlying messages and don't have enough knowledge of science to know when the claims are nonsense.

Yeah, there's a lot of people out there doing a lot of thinking, but just don't have a perspective that includes critical thinking, awareness of propaganda and how it works, awareness of the scientific method and history and why they're important, etc.. They get drawn in by this stuff, and most of them as far as I'm concerned are victims. They just don't know any better. Most people don't, and it's not really entirely their fault.
From what this looks like, this particular twist underlines another powerful trick of stuff like this...the tragically romantic idea that Utopia is the natural human state, and the only reason that's not currently true is because Powerful People are being Evil. The only reason why you're not happy, fulfilled, satisfied, successful, etc., is because the elite(corporate or governmental, take your pick) is holding you down. This is, of course, not to say that corporate and government corruption are not massive, international issues that result directly or indirectly in the suffering of billions of people. Just that things aren't quite so simple and probably don't involve aliens/perpetual motion. BTW, how is it that the Federal Reserve somehow is to blame for everything in every movie like this? |

What is enough knowledge? How do you even quantify such a statement. This ignores that there are some in the community who have phds and peddle some of this bullshit.

The end result was the UK, USA, France and 11 other countries invading Russia during the Russian Civil War with the intent of restoring the pro-Tsarist forces. When that didn't work out the west just held a staunch anti-Soviet mentality until the USSR was invaded by Germany.

Haha, reminds me of a colleague in University who liked to talk about politics. Some of the things he said reminded me of Zeitgeist, so I asked him what he thinks of that. He just dryly said: Its my bible.
From that day, I never had the urge to talk politics with him again. |

Whenever I see this stuff on the Federal Reserve and how banks only have to hold 10% of deposits and have the ability to loan out the rest, there's always a claim like "money is debt" or how because of this we're "debt slaves", but I don't understand the reasoning (even if faulty) behind those statements.
