I really didn't like this much. I saw this a the cinema 2 weeks ago and fell asleep during. twice. Its looked grainy/old and the direction and over stylisation of this one made it seem... like a student film.

No word on special features yet, but I'm sure we'll have plenty.

Nice. I was just thinking about this movie the other day when I decided to rent a movie on Amazon, and was disappointed to see it wasn't out yet.

Will definitely check it out.

Watched Submarine again, and was reminded how disappointing MK was. It's amazingly well done for a first time film director, too. It's a little more Noah Baumbach than Wes Anderson, but it gave me that feeling that I wish MK could have but didn't.

My tastes must be changing as I get older, I wasn't expecting to enjoy this but it's now one of my favourite movies of the year.

Loved Fantastic Mr Fox, but didn't really enjoy this. Was beautifully shot, and pretty charming, but it was also a bit long winded and imo, oft detached and creepy.

Finally watched the movie today. My movie of the year*. Weird, charming, at times disjointed, but ultimately highly entertaining. If you haven't seen it, go for it.

*I should probably mention that I haven't seen many movies this year, but it's nonetheless a pretty good one.

I thought it was good until they got caught, then it slowly goes down hill.

Indeed, but then again I'm a sucker for everything Wes Anderson.

I am very surprised this movie managed to make me like a Wes Anderson movie. I may even love it.

Yes it would have been better if the movie didn't go more and more over the top after them met with the creepy seller dude. I really like it up to the "wedding."

As far as the look of the movie. I really like the use of the color. Most of them were done with good set design, not shitty ass post processing in a shitty ass Zack Snyder movie.

Ha, that is one of the only parts of the movie I loved. The rest is just good to me.
