It surely didn't get killed as fast as the DS did, but that's just because Sony can't afford to kill it.

I just don't really understand why not go multiplat, like PSP + 3DS. You could easily have another 120, 130k sales in there.

I don't think PSP is a dying platform as for now, in fact this week has sold more than all other platorms bar 3DS and Wii U, besides iirc other games have been announced to release on PSP for 2013.
