Say what you will about MS and Kinect, it's a damned shame that they got most of the old dev together for a Panzer Dragoon game before Sega did. I don't have a Kinect at the moment so i hope the delay was for controller support, unless it's going to show up on the nextbox. Then there is this:

Have you tried cleaning it?

I've seen this happen with my controllers and cleaning them usually fixes the problem.

What I use:
Cleaning wipes,
Cotton swabs,
Alcohol,
a bowl to hold the screws,
small phillips(old dpad).

The battery casing is definitely the weakest part of the controller right now, I've seen them crack and make the controller basically unusable without bracing the battery into the casing.

Yeah, I thought that was a joke but who knows at this point. The PS4 has a touchpad, Move, and 3D Camera support so anything is possible.
