Still waiting on the Western equivalent of the Minna no Nintendo channel, and I'm hoping for both that and the gift-giving service to be up and running very soon.

I wonder if you can gift a game to a Wii from a different region.
But knowing Nintendo, most likely not.

Can Japanese Wii owners send things to Wii owners in other countries?

I have never played Super Mario Bros. 3 so you know where to send it.

I hope it lets you view the games they've previously bought to prevent double purchases

We need to set up a fund to buy every US Wii a download of Sin+Punishment.

Too bad I can't give some of the games i downloaded as a gift... I have games i never play on my wii (donkey kong, Kid Chameleon, Wario Woods) and instead of just deleting them, it would be nice to send it over to someone who's never played the game or that actually wants to play it... that, and it's a good way to cut the fat off my system.... oh well

Well, there's one question answered. It'll just tell you if the intended recipient already has the game you've selected and prevent it from being sent.

Well, Brawl at least is confirmed to be playable worldwide.

I wish they would revamp the shop channel so that it was more like the other channels in interface rather than a poorly set up web page. =/

I picture flinging time lines sorted by original release date, alphabetical etc. like spinning the weather globe, then when clicking on the virtual boxart having the box flip over to display the game blurb screens or even a movie. do it nintendo.
