Because I bought my Vita in September and I don't want to buy the game when there is newer stuff that has a lower chance of hitting PS+. And I don't have a big budget and this month my family has asked me to hold back my money. I will still try to buy Tearaway because it's for 23 euros in Amazon, but I feel i'll probably have to wait until the December.

I see. I didn't know that. The only thing I knew was that you had to have a minimum of 300 posts and I'm already well over that 3 times over. I have been a junior member since 8/30 so hopefully by the first week of December I get to be a full member. Then I'll be less prone to sleep deprivation due to bish's ban hammer.

I really wish they'd clarify the distribution avenues for this already.

I'm sick of seeing the new info about it and thinking "It's a shame I'll only be playing that if it's a $20 DLC to my existing game". I have a feeling they're going to split whatever community is left by having Delta be a "new game". Based on the amount of new archfiends vs the amount of re-used content from SS, I will not be comfortable buying or spending another 120 hours with it. If it were SS2 with all new monsters and such? Hell yeah get your sac on. I'm actually glad US gets SS free this month, might give me some incentive to finish off these Avalon pacts. I basically rage quit trying to do the first incomplete phantom quest in Penitence.

Tearaway depends on pricing. If it's $25 or less for the digital version in NA, sure, I'll deal with my issues with the game and hope it's special enough to be worth it despite my trepidations about certain aspects.

Soul Sacrifice Delta? I have too many other games to play to spend $40 replaying the same game I already have with 6 new archfiends. It's just not enough content to justify going back and doing it all over again so soon. It's a shame because I love the story (though I wish they hadn't gone the route they did with the original localization) and the new graphics look nice... but I'm pretty much sticking to my guns on this one unless it's budget priced.

I may have to wait like 1 week or 2 for Tearaway, but this game is the first in my wishlist. If I have to wait for that game, I'll probably close my eyes and evade al those upcoming pics / GIFs that will probably be around GAF xD

A friend of mine has been a junior for WAY over 3 months, so don't assume it'll happen right at that time.

Secondly (and this is only minor) - the rating system. I think it's interesting to check user impressions of things, but the rating system is right at the bottom of the store page which most users probably don't even check. If it was somewhere like.. the splash screen of the game (with the Play, PSN, Website options etc) we could get a much more accurate user feedback system.

What stuff would you guys like to see improved on there?

Sorry, I thought it was just the ratings you were looking for. Isn't being at the bottom of the page something everyone does like in the play store or app store so you can read the description for the game first?

I'd much prefer the Arthurian legends part of it stayed... Magusar is just... stupid. So is Illecebra. The only one I kind of liked was Sortiara in terms of "original" names. Besides, when you know which of the roundtable the side sorceror stories pair up with, some of those become more interesting too.

Then again, I'm a sucker for mythology... and Arthurian legends are a type of mythology, really, when you think about it.

I was a little hazy on the details of 999 when I played Virtue's Last Reward (read the summary on the wiki- might've replayed it if I owned a copy, but I only borrowed a friend's copy not long after it came out). Also, why not just use spoiler tags to prove your point? I have yet to see anyone post any real reasons why 999 should be played before VLR.

There are tons of reasons beyond that, and it seems like you didn't understand the overall story.

VLR is a direct sequel to 999. The timelines in the game happen on the same timelines as in 999.

1. The shirt-hating Alice in VLR is the exact same person as the one seen in the final scene of the 999 true ending. She was cryogenically frozen along with Clover, who is also the exact same person from 999's true end timeline.

2. Junpei and Akane are also the same people from 999, and provide one of the game's biggest reveals, which is wasted without playing 999, and is integral to making character motives make sense when Clover/Alice realize it in the game.

3. In 999 there are tons of easter egg references to VLR, including conversations about the freezing technology used on Alice/Clover, as well as Sigma/Phi's "space travel" ability, and even VLR's timeline jumping menu is mentioned, along with the rabbit. Who's to say there aren't more in there for ZE3 that we don't know about yet?

4. Aside from easter egg references, there are also VITAL references to VLR in 999. Free The Soul are never mentioned in 999 but when you find Snake in the coffin in 999, he wakes up wearing the exact same outfit that Free The Soul members in VLR wear, who are the organization that you are ultimately trying to stop in both VLR and the 3rd game according to Akane. This is one of the strongest connections that we don't know the consequences of yet, especially since Akane engineered the 999 game and wears one herself at the end of VLR.

5. In the final true end epilogue for VLR, Akane straight up says the next game (Zero Escape 3) will take place between 999 and VLR, and it can be assumed both young Junpei and her will make an appearance considering how integral they are to the current plot (Akane has been the engineer behind the nonary games in both games so far).

6. Uchikoshi hinted on twitter a relationship between Phi and Santa from 999. Considering we don't know anything at all about her still, it'll be important to know who Santa is when her identity is resolved in ZE3.

7. Uchikoshi has already confirmed he'll be bringing at least one more 999 character back for the 3rd game (my guess is at least Snake and Santa). It'd just be plain confusing for people (as it apparently was for you with Alice) and be harder to follow the overall story without knowing the background of all the characters involved.

I'm probably forgetting other important stuff but you would have to read the VLR spoiler discussion threads since they uncovered tons of information. 999 is absolutely necessary to understand the 3-game series fully

No, you don't have to do the DLC.

It's possible that it could have been glitched through updates. Maybe back out and try again?

Even if that's the case, if his save is post update and his game isn't current, his save probably won't work.

I asked today on the PSN blog regarding when we can hear about the new rotation of IGC games... another commenter said that a mod posted a response to this on monday mentioning how there won't be an annual rotation of ps+ vita games. they didn't provide a date for it, just a "watch this space for when its ready" type of thing.

sounds like a pretty easy thing for them to sweep under the rug and reveal at a conference etc. please don't let it be at e3....

I could've sworn that in the last topic someone mentioned that it was asked on the EU blog and they got an official reply saying there were no plans to refresh the IGC.
