Video looks promising; anyway, Limited Edition time!

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...st-promo-video

The game will ship on June 26 for 6,640 yen (about US$66). A 9,980-yen (US$100) limited-first-edition "Rival wa Takaramono Box" will come with (1) a box with exclusive visual art, (2 & 3) two original bonus video DVDs, (4) a special booklet, (5) bath posters with exclusive visual art, (6) interchangeable variant jacket covers for the different teams, and (7) the game itself.

That's a lot of Vita covers.

That's a lot of Vita covers.

But in the video there's no combat! :(

Sorry for the ignorance but what are bath posters? Or at least what are the differences with normal posters?

The many vita covers is an awesome idea! :O

They're water resistant so you can put them in the shower I believe. Some of them also have disappearing articles of clothing when water makes contact.

I just treat them as regular posters though ~

Since no one else seems to have asked the question and it's been on my mind for a while.. Why do Japanese developers sometimes title their games in German?

Einhänder, Herzog Zwei, Ehrgeiz, Panzer Dragoon and now this..?

Well in this case its not the developers, but the producers of the anime, since it's just an adaption. I think its just because german WWII tank are pretty cool, so they went for some gratuitous german.

And why would you want a tank, when you can have PANZAAAA?

They were our allies in WWII and it sounds cooler for them of course.

From what game footage that was in the PV it looks like it could be half decent.

Most anime games are nothing more than quick cash grabs, so hopefully this bucks the trend.

Well the main tank that's driven in the series by the protagonists is a Panzer 4 IIRC and also Girls und Panzer sounds a lot cooler than Girls and Tanks.

The other obvious one is Einhander if you look at the design of the ship it did literally have a single arm.

For names its fine, but when they start adding in random shit like the Attack on Titan OP2 then yeah we have a problem.

I thought this thread was about a Girl Vita game and a Panzer Vita game but a Girl und Panzer Vita game? Japan has the weirdest ideas.

Because they think German is cool, just like Germans think English is cool and give everything an English name.

That's a lot of Vita covers.

I see the Hippo team on one of the covers, so I'm happy.

Also, what's happening with that GuP World of Tanks thing? Was it some actual content or was it just promotional?
