Persona 4 has a great soundtrack indeed, one of the best out there. The game is one of my favorites ever. I really wish I could experience it for the first time again :)

I bought Knack for my wife along with a Vita (the main reason being we could play together via remote play) this is where my issue is. when I connect with the vita I take control of the game, I was under the impression once I connected with vita I would press x and jump into the game with a second character.

The only way we can play together is if I take over with the vita then log in as a second user with the DS4. Is this the only way it can be done?

Guess I must have asked a stupid question as I cannot find the answer anywhere, It doesn't help that I'm new to the vita I suppose. Personally I blame GAF, too many good things written about it ;)

Just got this yesterday and WOW that screen... I've been playing some LBP and Tearaway and the graphics look so gooood.

I'll dare to say that LBP looks better on Vita that LBP2 on PS3.

And I have a question, has there been some rumors or something about Sony allowing multiple accounts on one Vita?

Yeah, I fell in love with the screen too. There's so many things about the Vita that surprised me out of the gate. It's like I'm using an actual console but handheld, with all the OS convenience that entails. It even does stuff the PS3 couldn't, like instantly switching from a game to browsing the internet or something else and immediately resuming it.

Thanks, Black Friday.

After dealing with crappy LCD screens on my PSP and DS, the OLED screen on my Vita is really amazing. I should be used to OLED since I own a Galaxy Note II, but you don't really get to do much with a phone screen that demonstrates the superiority of this display technology. But playing Muramasa Rebirth on the Vita's screen literally feels visually revolutionary, because it's like playing on a very small version of an expensive high-end TV. OLED has perfect natural motion resolution like a plasma TV and since it's self-illuminating and not backlit, black really is black. It's too bad the OLED on Vita is a PenTile OLED, the distinctive "dirty screen" effect of PenTile is a bit distracting since my Note II is an RGB OLED screen.

There is something weird about my Vita's touch screen though. Sometimes when I resume it from Standby, the far left edge of the screen is unresponsive to touch input. This is really annoying because the Back button and the Close buttons in windows in the Vita OS UI are always on the top and bottom left. If I turn the screen off, wait for it to go back into Standby, and resume, it fixes itself. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something wrong with my Vita's touch screen?

Does Persona auto-level you or does it allow you to choose which skills to advance? I've been playing for about three hours and I've been in about three battles - so I don't really understand how leveling and progression work.

I believe (only about 20 hours in) It auto levels your stats based on the persona. And then when you get more skills than your persona can hold, you can choose to remove one to make way for the new one. Sort of like Pokemon.

It's really sad they are taking out the OLED screen in the new models. The OLED is the star of the system...

Received the Black Friday Vita yesterday evening and I am very impressed with the hardware and OS.

  • OS: This thing runs so damn smooth. Multitasking is easy and painless. My friend invited me to a party chat, and was blown away that you can play a game while chatting. Why is this feature not on the PS3? In comparison the OS blows the 3DS out of the water.
  • Hardware: The Vita is built so damn well. It doesn't feel cheap, has a great quality looking screen*, could use any 3.5mm mic to chat with (friend used her new Logitech and I used a generic iphone earphone mic), and the dpad is perfect

*I did notice the black botches on the screen when the screen turns dark already. Was kind of a bummer but expected.

As for the games I have yet to play anything in depth to really give an impression but I will update once I do. So far I am high impressed with the system. Games I got: Persona 4 Golden, The Walking Dead, Sly Thieves in Time, Hotline Miami (ps+), Soul Sacrifice (ps+), Gravity Rush (ps+), Strangers Wrath HD (ps+), and I got others but didn't bother installing for the time being. I also downloaded Wakeup Club, Netflix, Skype, and Youtube.

Any recommended games, settings, and/or apps?
