Depends on how bad the fire is, but breathing in will draw smoke and hot air deep into the airways where as a dead person's lungs will show a different pattern - assuming the body isn't totally cremated that is. I haven't seen the pictures.Ah didn't know that. Even immediately after death?
And they can tell that it's actually breathed in instead of just passively inhaled?
It's a fucking clever science. Horrible job, but fascinating.
Also, I'd guess that if you breathed in smoke the lungs would transfer some of the chemicals to the blood, and they would be circulated around the body. If these chemicals are found in deep tissues, you could assume that the person's heart was beating at the time. There would be quite a few ways I'd imagine.
well Im normally not freaked out about pics like that..... internet has ruined me.... But I had to look thankfully you really cant tell....its him...Go to liveleak.com and in the search bar put "paul walker", scroll around and you'll see it. It's not the first result, probably page 2. It seems it's almost night time in the pic.
DAMN son I really hope he didnt feel no pain...though :(
I have never street raced in my life, but I credit the series as one of the things that started my car love (along with Gran Turismo 3 and Sega GT on the DC). My 370Z is like a family member to me. Hits harder when it feels like it's someone that I know in way; same interests, passions, etc.
Anyway. Watching the movies again isn't ever going to be the same. Thoughts/prayers go out for his friends and family.
No disrespect for him or his family but wasnt the bluray gonna release this winter though? Would they rather delay the release or promote the release while donating profits to Walker's charity?Just seen them on tv. It's for Fast and the Furious 6, something about donating some money to one of his charities.
I dont think they are releasing the movie now on BD to ride his death.
Yeah, it was already coming out. The normal ads were playing all weekend.Originally Posted by Darknight

Saw the new one a few times now. The tone of the voice over really doesn't match the message.
I don't even know if they'll show how Han died in 7 since his car exploded while he was still alive :x
pretty much this series is screwed if they don't change some stuff
Has nothing to do with the release of the film. It's the increased ad campaign and pointing out the death, it's milking it.Originally Posted by Darknight

I have no problem with it either. Dead or alive, he is one of the stars of the film. Universal wouldn't be doing their job otherwise.
Very well done indeed.

Wonder if they'll auction off [part of] this for his charity.Originally Posted by surrealist
More of his car collection. He does own exotics, but for the most part Paul Walker's collection are made up of rare blue collar cars. That's a true car enthusiast. It also shows how humbling he was. He didn't need to drive a Ferrari-gatti-gini every day.
I'm sorry, what? What video was this?Originally Posted by Agent AA1
The more I think of it, in that video with the BMW dude yelling, I thought I saw something moving up and down by the drivers side. I had a though it might have been the driver, but I tried to tell myself it wasn't cause they probably died by collision. But now with the news that Paul was trying to get out by help of his friend and that report that he died of thermal heat and that picture of him by the drivers side and facing the door......I'm beginning to think it was him trying to get out
I hope I just imagined something, cause that is terrible
:'(
Damn :(
And I had no idea that he is at the very core of that foundation:
I thought he might've been just a celebrity who occasionally helped out or something like that. But for it to have been his initiative from day zero... that's wonderful. And not being named after him or anything like that shows a great deal of genuine modesty on his part. Could've called it "The Walker Appeal" or something stupid like that, but kept it real and his name out of the spotlight.Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW) - consisting of skilled volunteers - is a non-profit registered 501(c)3 organization. While part of a relief team responding to the massive earthquakes that devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010; Actor/Producer Paul Walker saw a gap between the availability of skilled resources and the requirement for such personnel in post-disaster situations. Following the trip he contacted a group of his friends to assist him in forming ROWW with the purpose of filling this unmet need.
great car collection, poor guy, shitty way to go.Originally Posted by surrealist

Yeah I definitely saw a December release date before everything happened. It was interesting that all the summer movies had already come to home video except this one.
It came out in October in Australia, still have not purchased it... i feel as though if i do now i would be bandwagon "hopper' (ie: one of those people that buys something when an actor or musician dies).I bought the DVD from the UK so I could watch it earlier. I plan to buy it again when it releases and marathon the whole series though it's going to suck to watch.
I don't mind the F&F movies as popcorn films but i honestly think the original was the best.
The whole situation is just sad.
Cool video, although I've always hated that song so it's not as touching for me as it could have been.I know this has already been linked, but man this video got to me =(

Movie star Paul Walker spent part of the last Sunday of his life at a restaurant in Macon. He was the first person Malcolm Steele, 22, served on his shift Nov. 24 at the Chili’s on Riverside Drive.“He treated me like I was a celebrity,” Steele said Tuesday. “He was one of the kindest, nicest guys that I’ve ever met.”“All he kept saying was, ‘you’re doing a good job, champ. You’re awesome Malcolm, a great server.”Walker starred in five of the six films in the popular car racing series “The Fast and the Furious” and had been in Georgia last month shooting the seventh installment. He arrived shortly after 11:30 a.m. and spent about 45 minutes in the restaurant, accompanied by a young woman Steele said may have been his daughter.
He ordered two waters with lemon and a California turkey club sandwich with a house salad.Steele, who has been working as a Chili’s server for five months, did not immediately recognize the actor. He said he tried to treat Walker like any other customer.Eventually, however, the restaurant awoke to his celebrity, and Walker was generous with his time, several employees said. He talked about his films, signed autographs and posed for photos.“Everyone was running around like school girls with crushes,” said Brittany Hardy, 24, who was bartending.Walker died the following Saturday in a fiery car crash in Santa Clarita, Calif.
He was the passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT that hit a light pole and burst into flames. He was 40.“It was a shock,” Chili’s host David Tressler, 21, said. “I just met my idol and now he’s gone.”Tressler sat down at a booth across from Walker to talk to him.“I sat there mesmerized,” he said. “You know the moment when you are 5 years old and you get that toy at Christmas time where your face is just glowing with excitement? That’s how it was.”Tressler told Walker that “Varsity Blues” is his mother’s favorite movie.“He was laid back and down to earth,” Tressler said.Walker spoke about his father, Steele said, and how he was brought up to love driving cars.“He was humble,” Steele said.Walker starred in the first “Fast and the Furious” movie in 2001 and helped inspire millions of fans into exploring performance car culture.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators have not yet determined the cause of the crash that killed him, but preliminary reports indicate speed was a factor.Earlier that day, Walker had attended a holiday toy drive for his international first aid charity, Reach Out Worldwide.“I know he’s in a better place,” Steele said. “He just seemed like a great guy.”
