When the main menu of a game makes you stare in wonder and is enjoyable to scroll through, that's a pretty good sign that it will be a pretty good game.
What a fantastic year for the Vita.
Edit:
Top of the page recommendation... Tearaway, duh.

Yes, I was. :POriginally Posted by SteveWD40
I am guessing your kidding
Can't underestimate Minecraft either, kids eat that up and it's a full version, not PE, on the go on a machine that retails for £99-£130...
Seriously, though I wish for something that Sony has heavy involvement with (even if it's just full-funding to another game/studio).
There's Soul Sacrifice, Gravity Rush, Ore Shika, Freedom Wars for next year. But what else is there? I think SS and GR sequels are to be expected, IMO.
I dunno if this was elsewhere, too, but there was also this Creator Interview from Dengeki Playstation last week released on Nov 28 (well, a part of it), so it can be anything from PS3 to Vita to PS4:
I really really really would like to believe that it's Shinovi Versus 2 (and not a PS3 version >_>).Ogasawara-shi Tecmo-Koei (Toukiden Producer)
Being able to make Toukiden and Nobunaga's Ambition, it was a productive one year. We're currently making a much bigger title.
Takaki-shi Marvelous AQL (Senran Kagura)
2014 is extremely hot. Few titles and few announcements will be boobs-unfolded to the extent that it will not betray the swell in everyone's chest. I'm itching to release it ASAP.
Okamura Gust (Atelier Producer)
The chance that we announce a new Atelier next year is high. There may also be a non-Atelier announcement. Please don't expect too much.
P.S. Don't ask me why Takaki's message is like that. Unless you have a better translation for it. Especially for おっぱい展開, which makes me imagine of boobs being released from all restraints.
Either ways, boobs.

Exciting to see so many people getting vitas =D
I was supposedly going to be playing a lot of P4G but booted up Hotline Miami instead and ended up playing thirteen chapters in a row lol... (currently stuck at the police station, any one have tips for that level?)
I used the unicorn mask on that one and it did wonders.
Go with Hard. You don't wanna go through with I what I went through. Mainly 1 hit deaths and replaying the whole stage because of forgetting to save.Originally Posted by Fine Ham Abounds
Just starting up P4G right now. Intro's a bit weird, good thing yellow is my favorite color.
How bad is Very Hard? Should I start with regular Hard?
Looks great!Sword Art Online(based allgamesbeta collage), it has both first and third person view

What's the best/cheapest way to import a 64gb vita card to europe?
I've been reading about Nippon-Yasan in this thread, what would be the final price after shipping to europe?
Thanks
looks really nice. thanks for the impressions.Originally Posted by mattiewheels
My impressions of the 2000 model are that it's nearly perfect. It actually makes the first Vita, which I thought had a very elegant design, feel like a clunker. The new one's really slim, and it still manages to not feel flimsy or small. Contours are perfect, and it just feels so much more natural in my hand. It's actually slim enough to feel more tablet-y, if that makes any sense.
The face buttons feel slightly clickier, more responsive, they even made the old dpad feel better than it already was. And dear lord it's nice to have a start/select that's easy to mash now. The angle on the triggers feels better to me for some reason, too. Battery life is supposed to be better, but it feels like it's going about the same rate on my first charge.
So the issue that keeps it from being all-the-way perfect is, of course, the LCD. It's still sharp as can be, and bright. But I notice the loss of vibrance every time I try a new game. In fact, the top brightness level makes me wish it could go a little more, it definitely feels a little "off" if you're used to the OLED. But......the new design actually holds more importance to me right now than the loss of colors that burn your eyes out. I played enough to just get into the game and felt the experience was just better all around. Plus, for people like me who left grease on the screen whenever you touched it, the new screen is like all my other touch devices, swiping leaves no trace. I played through Tearaway on my old one and the screen needed to be wiped off after nearly every big event, so this is a cool improvement. I bought both PSP models long ago, and this revision kind of kicks the pants off that one. Where that came off as a cheap revision, this is definitive to me.

In Europe too, in total for the card and fedex delivery it came to ¥11,900 yen (£67) I paid via paypal and my tracking data says it's in transit and arrives tomorrow. A lot of people say it can take a while to process your order, I paid via paypal incase that helped.Hi guys,

Edit: Bah just checked on it and its stuck in Shanghai, with shipping exception? Should I be concerned?
That is one comparative screen between third and first person view, the same scene with first person view is in the third screenshot in the collage

Hmmm, still too expensive for my wallet! What's the cheapest way to buy a 32gb one in europe?

If they allow me to customize Kirito to a girl, I would buy 15 copies.
As far as retail releases? Ys came out last week and it's apparently pretty good. If you've got a bit of an indie bent to ya, I think you missed Spelunky as well. Oh! Also, Rayman Legends.Should be back on the Vita train post X-mas. Had to get rid of mine earlier in the year. I have missed everything after April. So far I know I need Teraway, Killzone, Dragon's Crown. Anything else I have missed?
Hello fellow Thailander! Im here in Bangkok and coincidentally also playing Sly Cooper right now. Cheers!Just bought Sly Cooper for 10$ digital on Amazon, didn't know I could do that from here in Thailand but a fake Beverley Hills 90210 address works wonders (It was the only US postcode that I knew) :D
But I can guarantee that Sly will be on PS+ in January now, It's been 3 months since there was a game on PS+ that I didn't have already :(
I just got to The Caverns. I definitely am starting to feel like the game is becoming more enjoyable. I think the first 30% or so is decent, but not as strong as this middle 30% has been. I have two complaints up to now...
1) I've noticed some definite slowdown in the past level or two. Particularly when running from the Wendigo and the floor starts breaking up. I hope there isn't much more, because that REALLY took me by surprise and kind of bothered me.
2) The camera is, at times, atrocious. Not the camera you use, but the game camera. It gets stuck, doesn't follow you right, or doesn't give you enough information in front of you to feel comfortable sprinting ahead. I find myself hitting triangle to scope the area in front me more than I want to.
Also, another question/complaint spoiler...When you fall from the Lab into the Caverns, there's a bunch of confetti pieces that I didn't realize where obtainable during the falling only. Will I be forced to replay the entire lab section if I want to get those pieces for 100%, or is there a way to teleport back up to that falling section?
E: I would still recommend the game, definitely...But I am one of those who didn't enjoy the opening sections as much as others. I almost felt like I had to force myself through the first 20-30%. Once that was over, the game got much more enjoyable. I guess that's my "buyer beware" for the game. Based off of my current experience, you need to make sure you stick with it. The game gets better.
I didn't have any performance problems. *shrug*Originally Posted by nicoga3000

As for confetti, you can just restart the stage over and over until you get them all. You don't have to complete a stage for it to save your confetti and other progress. Just let the auto-save finish.
I just saw this video and it looks pretty promising:

Unfortunately yes, that's probably my only gripe with the game...Originally Posted by nicoga3000
