For my money, I think the "love" theme that is featured in the E3 2006 trailer is pretty amazing. Wait til you hear it from start to finish.

Oh yeah, that is good. Is it the "main theme" in the same sense as Snake Eater?

Wow, very mature. I haven't read something like that since the early days of the GCN vs. PS2 'console wars.'

BTW, finishing up the podcast now, but I can totally relate to you growing out of the Mario franchise. I don't have a Wii right now, and when I get one I'll most likely check it out, but I think I've grown out of the franchise as well. It was great back in the day, but I've moved on. :D

Lesson learned: Don't mess with Mario.

I will eventually check it out, but come on people, there's no denying the fact that the game has a very adolescent theme.

Do you get upset when family or your girlfriend can't find what's appealing about a military-themed game like MGS?

Lesson still learned though: Do not mess with Mario, or his weird fan club.

Oh absolutely, but behind that theme lies a very "mature" game design. Most of the mature games out there have an "adolescent" design I might say.

Obviously MGS is above everything as it is mature in both aspects.

After all this mature talking, time to download some porn.

I love MGS, but I also do love Mario. I think it's deceptive, because I can't imagine young kids being able to complete some of the harder levels, but it's so happy and sunshiny. Then again, maybe I underestimate kids these days.

Ryan I have a question, how did you guys employ the various regional versions for MGS4?

Did you guys do it like Naughty Dog and Insomniac where it is based on the region of the PS3 itself? Or did you guys base it on the disc itself?

Thanks,
=)
