A lot of people disliked his modding style. I have nothing personal against him and he seems decent but I can see why a lot of people really got mad at his...use of power. It happens.

I also remember a thread about a guy complaining that the Xbox 360 "X" light was too bright then complained on GAF. People started mocking him and hilarity ensued (or at least that's how I remembered it). Could be totally wrong though lol.

He IS a decent guy, from what I can tell, but he has the tendency to argue in a way that turns people off. And, well, he was a mod, which led people to dislike him further, and then he was caught in a lie, which validated people's opinions of him.

I remember that thread! It was another one of those GAF is just messing with someone for being attracted to something they don't approve of! That's sure is a popular genre in this topic.
