I've always wanted to play the STALKER games since I saw the original back in 2007. Now that my hardware can handle it I picked SoC and CoP in the recent steam sale. Very nice.
I also liked GSC's previous work in games like Cossacks so this is sad news if it ends up being indeed true though the post above gives me some hope yet.
