He who pursues two rabbits gets two rabbits.
How many of the problems with the game are fixed by banning V-ism? (Me and my friends as kids never really used it.)
That wouldn't do anything to fix crouch cancel infinites. Starting with full super meter and the presence of a guard meter are still kind of weird, too.

Honestly, Alpha 3 is one of my favorite SFs at a casual level, but it seems like a mess competitively.

Lost Fragment

Obsessed with 4chan
Now that I'm an adult, the only thing that isn't horrible about Clarissa Explains It All, In retrospect, is Ferguson.

Are You Afraid of the Dark sucks too.

You'd never get such a ban, and it wouldn't fix all the problems. The Guard meter mechanic being poor, throw whiffing for meter, and fireballs doing 1 pixel of damage on hit were all pretty major problems.

A2 had its share of problems as well- some chars just absolutely sucking (Adon, Birdie), some overeffective AC's, and Valle CC's being stupid.

GeoNeo

I disagree.
Sanwa Silent buttons on blast from Champ & PR Rog.

WTF kind of product is this shit Sanwa. It stops being silent if you use it too much rofl..poor poor product. Will avoid that shit for sure.

nycfurby

Dhalsim's Max CPM Emporium
Judderman that just reinforces my belief that acho is the best arcade ive ever been to. Where else can you find high level EX2+ in 2013 lol

The guy in the middle won some kind of prize or auction or something. The other two dudes ran NeoGeoFreakz which had a tremendous falling out with the Neo Geo community. Some real fine drama.

I don't know any Japanese but I am damn sure this commentator understands SFEX2+ on the deepest of levels purely based upon when/how much he yells.

I went ahead and spent the majority of the last few days to apply the previous patch changes (including v2013) to the frame data of the guide. I also, done the frame data for 3 DLC characters so far (blanka, cody, dudley[wtf his frames are godlike]), doing another one each day. Alisa will be done by tomorrow. Further, I spot tested many moves and corrected errors of the vanilla data and revealed differences to the patch notes.
AFTER I'm done with all the DLC characters, I will check all special moves, super and cross arts of all characters and complete my change log.

Help would be appreciated for the DLC characters. I have no clue about most of them, so it's hard to get "notes" on the moves, ala "invincible frames, throw invulnerable, special properties, groundbounce on counter hit etc" or which move you can cancel by what. Even just writing all the moves, damage and hit level without anything else would save me 2 hours minimum per character.

Albeit all the problems you list between both games nobody plays the updated versions of Alpha 2 & 3 because of the problems you listed with any seriousness. I guess 1 Level Alpha Counters and Throw Whiffing must be really important to those metagames I guess.

SRSLY!? Best game, it's like SF4 but with more frames...or something.

Hmmm....

Man if this thread was around when Dark Geese was prominent. Would've been so good.

If SRK was any indication of how DG would've been then he wouldn't have lasted long on GAF anyway. And plus he seems to be satisfied with his current plan to rule KoF in Mexico with an iron fist or something.

The thread title is Ice Cold.

Also my Page 1 controversial post of the week:

Mike Ross > Gootecks > Clakey D > Marn > CJ Showstopper > Dahbomb

The only controversial part of that post is that Clakey D and Marn aren't at the bottom.
They play the game, albeit sometimes than just theory fighting, so why would they be at the bottom?
And I just like trolling CJ Showstopper. He's actually good.
