Back in November 2005 I bought Kameo about a week or two before the Xbox 360 came out.
Same for the Wii. Heck, Twilight Princess was released a couple weeks before the console. I had picked up that and the Marvel game when they came out. I stared at them for like 2 weeks before I picked up the console.
MS is confirmed November 2013 so they absolutely will be. I could see Sony going Nov 1 and MS going Nov 15.

Hmmm, most consoles got released officially on a friday in Europe. The 13th of november is a wednesday.
That date has been known for a few days. One of the mods at Budgetgaming.nl, kinda like the Dutch version of CAG, posted last week that he received promo material from Sony with the same release date.

That date is fine. October would be nice. Start of September would be better(I'm off all of September lol)
Would rather not wait 2 weeks after the US but it does at least mean I can spend launch day on GAF and youtube seeing all the cool shit and talking about it as I won't have one. Then two weeks later I can get mine and will be able to play in peace.

No they don't. They get released on whatever weekday. Even PS3 was released on a Saturday if I recall correctly.

How does that "not work"? Watch Dogs only has a confirmed release date for the current-gen versions, the next-gen versions have only been confirmed to be coming out when the hardware does.

Yep, in France, when the PS1 launched on sept 29th, I bought NBA Jam TE on sept 5th.
