Please let this be true. All the standard modes are pretty boring and I don't have much motivation to do it since I have pretty much unlocked everything

sounds like everything i could hope for, can't wait for that DLC. is it pay dlc, or free i wonder? either way i don't really care. gonna be annoying buying it again on pc if its pay, but it sounds like it will be worth it.

Deathmatches and even better, team death matches are sweet.

I get into DM's all the time after that last update because 90% of the population isn't replaying Down the Drain and Criminal Records 24/7. I know people cried about the nerfed race payouts but good riddance. The game has so much more mission variety in the lobbies now.

And Deathmatches (assuming you win) pay out big.

The one thing I hate about TDM is there's no way to limit weapons. The higher ranked player gets access to cooler and better weapons. This top down design philosophy in multiplayer games has to stop. CoD created a monster. I wish you could do something similar to GTAIV. A rifle deathmatch, pistol deathmatch, sniper deathmatch etc.

Impounding cars is perhaps one of the most shitty mechanics in this game. It serves no purpose other than to annoy you for having a bit of fun.

I've not played this almost a month. Got burnt out on it and no one I knew was still playing it. Online had too many dull missions, and the bad sport thing ruined most free roam mode fun times. Have they added heists yet?

No heists and they toned down the bad sport thing.

So you're one the people that chase me down and try to kill me when I have no interest in your shenanigans? Really though I avoid the city central at all costs because of those people. Should have some sort of no kill option where you can choose not to want in that and people cant kill you and you cant kill others. When im exploring be it just driving or looking for something else to do I just hate how I always gotta keep expanding my radar thing to see if im getting followed or someone on route to cut me off.

impounding cars is cool, just wish they had more then 1 location. Kind of BS to be in blane and having the car shipped to the city.

only joy is seeing other players cars in the impound lot and pushing them into a train.

Can't use the jerrycan to blow cars up without penalty anymore. I got hit with $9,000 fee after blowing this car up to prevent them from following me(and to be an ass for trying to kill me.)
Also I do want there to be melee only deathmatch. Did that with someone the other day and was so fun.

thats why you kill the driver and just use the autoshotgun to catch the engine on fire. you destroy the car, but it doesnt blow the car up, so technically you are not destroying the car. So the game thinks the owner crashed it, so they have to pay full price insurance and they now leave you alone forever unless they want to risk you bankrupting them by blowing up their adders engine over and over till they learn.

If I'm out far in the country, I destroy it, call mors, then my mechanic. Takes less time to drive all the way back. Supers are the only cars I actively try to save, as10k just is too much of a hit to the ol wallet.

I didn't think the "re-launch" of the Beach Bum weekend would be this weekend due to Thanksgiving. Shame it didn't work out. I figure we will be getting a early Christmas present from rockstar soon.

I just did this today without losing any money or getting the bad sport warning.

Barely lose anything now, it was way worse before. I suppose it's all depends on where you are in the game though, its a grind for sure.

it's a slow boring grind without any real goal.

I got to level 60-ish just playing now and then (mostly doing the phone missions) and barely made $2m in that time (most of it was spent on ammo and other crap like hospital bills before that changed).

I don't know how they expect you to get the money you need to buy the good vehicles without using those cash cards... wait, I guess I just answered my own question.

and you know what? the things you can buy aren't even worth the effort. It's not like owning an Adder makes a big difference.

How do you purchase property online?

I am level 7 right now and it says you should be able to buy houses at level 5.

The dynasty website says something like I have to wait for a call from Simeon but so far nothing?

The game is a slow grind if you play legitimately. I've got a little over 550k and I'm trying to save up for a tank :(

I get why its a slow grind, its meant to be a persistent world with tons of stuff to do and lots of people to interact with. Something you'll invest a ton of time into and keep playing for the long run.

But 1.) I can't find a cool and active crew to hang with
2.) The game is rapidly dropping in players and it doesn't help it segregates the player base by three (maybe 2, not sure if the traditional GTA and asissted aiming modes are seperate in online.) aiming modes.
3.) A painfully slow release of content that was promised from the trailer. Nevermind any future content that was planned. I bet some of this will be monetized DLC too.
4.) before Rockstar cracked down on it there are a ton of players that got a gamebreaking amount of money and ranked up super fast.

I can still see the potential the game has and I still play it because its still fun and generates those moments occasionally that make the game worth it. But its starting to run thin and I dunno how long I'll be playing it for.

I'm trying to get done with the online trophies in this before GT6 comes out. I'll still play it after but I'm keen to get the trophies done so I can just play when I get a moment rather than ever have an aim again.

I finally found someone of an appropriate level who would mug me on request so that's that one out of the way but it's surprising how many level 50+ players out there who are totally unaware of the ability to phone Lamar to call a mugger!

I'm at 25 of 30 platinum awards through [mostly] just playing the game with a couple of easy solo-able ones tucked away but I really need someone up for doing half an hour of boosting to help me out with a couple of these and with my last "needs someone else" trophy, Backseat Driver.

Is anyone going to be playing (PS3) tonight or tomorrow night (GMT) who is up for:

1) Playing two rally races (quitting out of one), one as co-driver and one as driver, so each of us can get the associated trophy (don't worry it can be done with two players, I've been told).

2) Trading a golf win (2 holes).

3) Trading a standard death match win (minimum kills/time). I think I'd get this eventually naturally but I don't play enough of the deathmatch modes to think it will be quick or easy.

4) I wouldn't mind trading a straight sets 5 set tennis match victory too (should be quick enough) but I understand if you aren't keen to do this one.

I'd be happy to help out with anything my partner in crime needs in return.

Why do Rockstar servers ignore my race times and other stats?

Edit; My cousin cant join friend/crew sessions and gets sent to sessions all by himself that no one ever joins. Any one having this issue?

I don't think it was ever stated they were coming out together, just that it was coming soon. Check their official site often. Ya never know when they may drop it.

I know people were using exploits to get tanks in their garages and stuff in the past, but once you buy a tank in Online, can it actually be stored anywhere like a hangar? I bought one in single player and it was just stored in Trevor's hangar and it'd respawn pretty consistently. Does the same happen in Online or do you only really get one shot to use it?
