Of course it's not going to happen, but from the current cast, as far as I'm concerned everyone other than Peacock, Valentine and Nadia can die in a fire and be replaced by every character I've voted for and maybe a couple of others.

Whatever the case, they look fantastic! Every time I see another piece of concept art, it makes me excited to see a different character in motion.

Pretty much darkblade. I just don't find them that interesting at all because I'm just not a fan of that style.
On the other hand I thought the idea of a wacky scientist shark who loses health if he doesn't walk forward and uses Ironman style lasers, a time traveler that could jump back in time to help himself, a brawling guy that fires a shot from a cannon if he punches the opponent with a tank arm, and a pro wrestler that emulates Rob Van Dam for creative chair usage in a fighting game just way more interesting than a cross between JoJo and Ramona Flowers, a chibi Dio, and a loli fishmaid. Its just my opinion and I hope that I'll get one of my characters in with the next poll.

First of all, I have no problem with gay men. I used to be a DJ at a gay bar and got hit on all the time because with my baby face some older men thought I was a twink. You just roll with it. I find it funny that you would even mention something like that as if there's some kind of inherent link between the two cultures to somehow reduce an opposing opinion into some kind of rambling bigotry. I've seen your posts in the past and honestly that's a pretty cheap shot for you.
As for the whole anime thing. The problem is that as darkblade mentioned earlier there are tropes in certain anime styles that are related. Even if you can't see the difference, other people can. And those people (myself included) just don't like that design. The cultural relationship of the fandom around that style is something I personally find a tad bit disturbing. Don't tell me that you don't feel a tad bit uncomfortable when you're around grown men with fedoras and neckbeards opining over imaginary little girls. Perhaps it is a prejudice but its something I find disturbing and don't find appealing at all.
Its just my personal preferences as an individual. Doesn't make me a terrible asshole just because I don't find any of that style appealing and I would appreciate it if you don't try to loop me in with homophobes or other terrible people because you disagree with me. Thank you.

I don't understand, I recently discovered GAF(which is funny because I've had an account since 2009) after being a 4channer for nearly 8 years, I don't get why "4chan" gets blamed for so much crap.

meh, I was always on /b/ and everyone overreacts about it.
You have a wrong image of 4chan, there's different sections for adult stuff and there's SFW sections
I love it, it's a place where everyone just asks for whatever and does whatever, I've never had better vidya conversations than in /v/ or /vg/.
As was I, hence my insensitivity to /b/. If a commoner shows up to /b/ their minds are forever scarred. Some really disturbing crap comes out of that place.
Also, the media has portrayed all of 4chan as Anonymous. So every member is some anarchist hacker destined to destroy the world.

being Anonymous in 4chan is fucking fantastic, no one is looking for karma or trying to gain attention, simply fantastic.
GAF is the first place I've warmed up to aside of 4chan, and it took A WHILE(it took a crazy loli thread to get me into this community)
A subculture within anime fandom. SG and anime cultures do cross paths. Not saying everyone who plays SG (hell I do) is some kind of neckbearded fedora who takes pics with their waifu photoshopped in, but occasionally I do see them at events and they creep me the fuck out.

Edit: The particularly creepy stuff was coming out of 4chan which prompted my post. Apparently some people here somehow saw themselves being targeted. I guess that was my mistake, but I don't even like to mention 4chan out loud. Just a couple of days ago I found one of my posts regarding the top 4 copied word for word. Not interested in attracting their attention all that much.

The only reason I don't like GAF as much are the stupid threads, mostly the ones against Nintendo.... it's sad to see so many members say such stupid crap. I kinda agree that it's better, but without 4chan I don't think I'd be the same man, I love that place.
Oh and getting worried about getting banned all the time, if I said 10% of what I usually say in 4chan I'd get banned in 2 seconds.

I completely stand by that post. I'm not one of the assholes who believes that Nintendo keeps on rehashing the same exact game over and over again and preying off of people's nostalgia for sales (New Super Mario Bros. excluded), but the pandering here is just so obvious that it's hard to not to agree with those sentiments a little. Also, the last time they tried to copy their past success while adding or changing anything, we got Twilight Princess, the worst home console entry in the franchise's history, and that was nowhere near the level of uninspired cut & paste that this appears to be, so I have no reason to believe ALTTP2 won't suck.
But yeah, we're getting off topic, so I'll stop.

Stance characters are only awkward at first, once you get used to it it just becomes another input in a string of inputs and you get the bonus of having a bigger move pool
