Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
Man, the sprite work for CoM was so good. I'd love to see a 2D KH again... but we won't.

lol

But yes, I would like to see Jupiter work on KH again. I think they're doing mostly mobile work now, right? That's where all the japanese sprite games are going these days.

Out of curiosity does anyone here (preferably in Europe) have the 2.8 pin and is willing to sell it? I don't care for pins normally but I really liked the 3D cover art and like it but buying the LE is becoming harder to do with the price of it and how few there seem to be around right now.

Just 100% 0.2, critical with no second chance was super hard, every encounter was so dangerous specially with the flying and elemental enemies, and bosses can kill you on one hit if you don't have more than 50% health, thank god there was once more.

And now I'll start x back cover, super exited to see whats in there.

Okay I know I just started DDD, but is everything meant to seem so bland, flat and boring? They have all these extra mini games and mechanics that just feel like gimmicks and filler. Sora and Riku are back to using their annoying KH1 models yet again, and frankly this game just feels like drivel at the moment.

Yes I know whatever game I played after Nier and Zelda was always going to find it difficult to catch my attention, but this weems realy bad. It makes me worried about KHIII if this is their latest full game attempt

God, just got to that Ursula fight last night you were talking about a page or two ago. My god, how terrible of a fight that was. Happy to be done with it, let's never look back on it

I'm still holding out hope for a sort of "0.2 2.0" update that brings its mechanics further in line with KH2 and lets the assorted missions also unlock support abilities for you in addition to costume pieces. It'd be nice for the game, as brief as it is, to have slightly more in the way of real RPG elements - and I think it'd be a good thing for players to be able to go around sidequesting to unlock an extra Fire Boost or Defense Up or whatever if they're having too much trouble. Lock the really good shit like Finishing Plus or MP Hastega behind the toughest objectives (like beating the game on Critical or beating Shadow Aqua).

That sounds really cool and it would actually fit with the slots for gear we have on the main games and the inclusion of wardrobe from 0.2, not only an armor and accessories for stats but also with a visual representation just like with Aqua something on head/back and arms, that is always missing on square titles besides FFXIV where character just look the same every time no matter their gear.

Not only that but it would makes sense with the way they had handled abilities, ie. commands on BbS and spirits on DDD.

But on that topic I hope there are not any miss able objectives on KHIII like there were on 0.2, as a completionist type of player, I love KH because no matter what I can do a 100% run every time I play it.

Finally finished DDD. I bought 2.8 day one but after watching Back Cover and beating 0.2, for some reason I didn't even start DDD until about 2 weeks ago.

Outside of the dive shit to get to new worlds, I really enjoyed it.

One more problem I had is that I felt Riku got shortchanged in terms of content when it comes to certain worlds.

The biggest example being the Musketeers world.

Oh yeah, Balloon is too good.

Does the 2.8 version of 3D have any additional scenes or unlockable secret scenes? I was going to replay it after playing the 3DS version but I kind of really don't want to and did pretty much all that I wanted on that version.

It does not. It's a pretty straightforward port of a barebones/unbalanced game.

0.2 is very good for what it is, though I'd like to see it improved further somehow.
That's good to hear, it seems like most people feel the same way and say it has replayability. I might end up playing 3D on Easy if I have the time if I just want to play it again but I really doubt I'll want to.

Finally got to play this and loved it.

Visuals had me shook right away. The enviroments look stunning and UE4 particle porn is in a league of its own. It ran pretty well too on a Pro. The gameplay itself is also a lot of fun, having tried (and failed) to replay KH1, 2 and BbS a few days ago. It's so smooth.

Willa Holland got a lot better too, but I'm biased there cause she's bae. It restored my hype in KH3, though I hope it's not another MGSV/FFXV, where I loved the demo/prologue but hated the full game.

The cure animation in 0.2 is gorgeous.

Also, the framepacing/framerate is fucking atrocious.

I can't get over how bad it runs considering:

-It's exclusive, only one platform to worry about
-It's fucking 900p, less than vast majority of games minus stuff like Battlefront that aim for 60fps
-It looks good but it doesn't look THAT good
-Areas are still relatively small compared to many other open games and there aren't many characters/enemies present really.

Maybe they just didn't put enough time and resources into it? Hopefully KH3 runs better than 0.2, especially since Olympus looks bigger than the entirety of 0.2.

Did a quick run of 0.2 and it's frustrating that while magic is the best it has ever been in the series it's still missing the one little tweak I probably have talked before.

The MP system needs to allow recovering MP at all times akin to KH1. There is no reason to have a system where you are just sitting on super low MP waiting for you to take damage to use cure and being ''unable'' to use any other magic. MP should slowly recover when using normal attacks so you could throw some basic spells in there without losing your chance to cure but still making sure you cannot spam spells too much without items.

Same thing when the MP Charge is active, the gauge should recover faster when attacking enemies to make aggressive gameplay feel more of an option rather than just run away spamming dodge waiting for the MP to recover.

Yeah, agreed (and MP Rage should speed up the charge meter, too - arguably that's a *more* egregious issue). Although I'd want the recover-MP-via-attacking thing to be an equippable ability (again, like MP Rage) in case you want to deactivate it so you can take advantage of Berserk Charge.

I remain of the opinion that 0.2 ought to have each 'challenge' unlock a passive ability for Aqua in addition to a costume piece. I do not give a single fuck about dressing Aqua up but I'd totally go after every challenge in the game if they'd actually power Aqua up (especially in ways that make that superboss less crushing and more tough-but-fair like KH2 superbosses).

Like, it'd be cool if beating the Castle of Dreams world got you Leaf Bracer, beating the Dwarf Woodlands/mirror world got you Second Chance, and beating the Enchanted Dominion/thorns world got you Once More. Then attach some really primo stuff like Finishing Plus/MP Hastega/MP Rage to beating the game on various difficulties or beating Mirror Aqua.

Smaller challenges could unlock little stuff like HP Boost or Thunder Boost or Thunder Screen.

I feel like that's something that would be relatively easy to add to 0.2 but increase the replay/postgame value of the game a LOT.

Oh and halving your MP on Critical is fucking stupid and the game should Not do that.

So I'm playing 3D right now and I need some advice. What's the optimal way to build/create Dream Eaters for the best skills?

Well, unlike BBS there's no Lucky Strike ability that speeds up the process of acquiring the rest of them - in DDD, honestly just concentrate on getting the holy trinity of leaf bracer/second chance/once more as fast as possible (feel free to use guides for this - especially because some Dream Eaters unlock the good shit much faster and much more cheaply than others).

Having better Dream Eater stats is nice but not really that important, IMO. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
