Yep, crashes I'm fine with - crashes that nuke your save from orbit forcing you to start again - not good. It was only about 45 minutes into the game - so not too bad. Didn't have a auto cloud save at that point to drop back to either - which I probably would of had if it had happened later. I'm putting down to bad luck at the moment - as no one else has reported it.

So your FPS issues - were they in game or during cutscenes? Have heard reports of issues during cutscenes with some users. Pausing and skipping mostly.

They started on the first boss. And dropped to incredibly low numbers then boom back to normal when the boss was defeated.
As I progressed many hours into the game I noticed it started to get touchy even during some encounters as well in mid to late game but encounter FPS never dropped to the boss battle FPS lows. Depended on the boss to.
Reloads, recache, reinstall to different drives didn't fix.

Xbox One version, I presume. I've completed two main bosses on PS4 Pro and no framerate issues at all. I think the developer saw my thread about the game I made at the weekend. Hopefully he sees this too and they can look into it. It's a damn fine remaster of one of last gens real gems otherwise.

Like so many others, I love this game. Double dipped on PC, so waiting to see how they handle the pricing on Steam. Just upgraded my PC to a GTX 1070 so would actually love to play through this with Ultra settings.

Which version of the game did the pictures in OT come from? They're good for 1080p...but if that is 4k ill be disappointed.

Ya. Even with the issues its great.
They informed me PS4 version wasn't ready for review when I was getting mine. Though I have heard otherwise from someone else with the PS version having slight FPS problems. Sometimes consoles just make me laugh...or cry.

Loved it till it glitched out on me later in the game and an explosion didn't trigger the way it was supposed too ruining 10 hours of gameplay.

But if this edition is an upgrade i wouldn't mind replaying it again.

I do not understand why I can't preorder this from Best Buy. Oh, well, I'm still diving in tomorrow. I may not get to the game for a while, but I absolutely loved playing it on the 360 so many moons ago.

Man 2s remaster. I must've lucked out because it both looks and runs much better than the original release. Apparently there *is* a patch in the pipeline though, assuming it'll drop after Warmastered. The studio that handles Deathinitive is working on other projects now so I assume that's why 2 was left on the backburner since the studio currently on the franchise can't do both Warmastered and the patch for 2 at the same time.

These just look like upscaled 1080p so maybe it still needs patching for Pro support.

That texture filtering doesn't look very promising though.

It has Pro support out of the box and there is no day one patch. The screenshots were taken in 4K mode, but my TV is 1080p.

Of course I can see that, but the poster used the word cancelling with such conviction that maybe he or she had something substantial to back it up.

I don't have an issue with Laura Kate, in fact I'm a big fan. I've been subbed to her YouTube and listened to her appearances on podcasts for a long time now. I made a joke about only her fortune telling abilities could tell us about Switch support. You hurt me, sir.

loved the first one. Never really gave the 2nd a shot. I started it but didnt grab me so i put it in my backlog.


Wish their was a 3rd and 4th.

Has John or DF announce anything in regards to this? I'm really curious about the WiiU port of the game, but want some solid details before purchase. Can't imagine it running really solid at 1080p, but sure hope so!

So they already released the remaster for the second one, which is Deathnitive and this is the remaster for the first Darksiders that came out in 2010?

That's confusing. Why not just release both games in one package considering one is 6 years old and other is 4 years old.

no, i didn't see it there either. and gamestop says it's not released yet. went on amazon and ordered it. had to sign up for a free 30 days of prime just to be able to order. however, i got the game for $15.99 as a prime member then, so not bad. then they only charged me a couple dollars to have it delivered tomorrow.
