Based off the $700,000,000 lottery prize thread got me wondering if anyone has ever won the lottery here, a big prize not like £20 haha. Never won anything myself, but would love to hear some fun stories!

Back when I was into poker, I won $1300-ish from a $1 tourney online, only ever invested about ~$100 in total too.

Couple $50 Scratch cards too.

In my life in its entirety I have won

- Look Who's Talking Too VHS and T-Shirt
- Incredible Hulk, Megadrive game
- £400 betting on a horse race in 2007 from a £10 bet (annual Grand National)
- A £50 pair of JVC headphones this week funnily enough

That's quite enough swag for one lifetime

A good dollar here and there when the Poker craze was in full swing, but that's not that interesting.

When I was around 11, I put a shit ton of raffle tickets into our school's "Fun Fair" specifically for a party for me and my friends at "MVP" which was a business that basically let you play SNES, Genesis and Nintendo games for a few hours. I ended up winning and people treated me like a celebrity for the rest of the day, even before I got the actual prize.

When I turned 21 I went to a casino and played a nickel slot machine and won 300 dollars on my first spin of the first machine I used. I left immediately and bought a ps3. I don;t really gamble at all either so it was pretty cool.

If we include gambling, I went once and earned around $200 and left. Never gambled again. I suppose that counts?

50 bucks in Harrah's in New Orleans. We went there for the buffet each morning during a week long bachelor party. Had since time to kill so we split up. Stopped at a slot machine with two friends. We decided we each would get a pull. First pull, nothing. Second, nothing. Third, I'm at bat. Bam! 50 bucks . Cut my losses while I was ahead then we went off to start drinking earlier than usual.

Most money I've ever won in a day was winning $280 2 years ago from winning my main Fantasy Football league.

I've won smaller contests- I got a free copy of the 3DS Naruto game from a Shonen Jump contest, I won a twitter contest for Warped Tour tickets a few years ago, ect

$3600 play roulette in Vegas my first time going. Put $25 on 3 and won the first spin. kept on taking $500 back to the room and playing the rest of it, eventually hitting 4 more times.

Flew out the next weekend to try again and lost a $1000 and really havent won big since

When I was a kid, I won some handheld gaming system that I can't even remember the name of. I figured it was because I was pretty much the only kid that entered the contest due to the time the commercial for it aired.

I used to win tons of stuff on those radio contests as a kid. They called me the "Music Prize Pig." :D Heck, there wasn't much I didn't win as a kid. I just had a name that liked to be called~

These days I guess I win at poker sometimes? $400+ coming in second at a charity tournament, and a couple hundred each at other ones.

I won tickets to a B52's concert and a cassette or CD of my choice. I picked the "The Heights" soundtrack. That should tell everyone how old I am.

I won about $7,300 in a poker tournament - the first one for real money that I had ever played. It set me on a bad path of gambling, prostitution, and drinking. I regret nothing.

I was at some event, and they had a giveaway where they had stuck the winning ticket under a random seat in the audience. I happened to be sitting in that seat.

The prize was some big gingerbread house/cake thing. There was no way I was going to be able to bring the thing home and I was pretty embarrassed at the attention to begin with, so I gave it to some lady in the same audience afterwards. She seemed pretty happy about it, saying she had kids who would love something like that.

But i'd love to win the millions as would everyone,Or even like 250,000 would be nice, or any high amount.

£25 at a raffle in work

A days paid vaction at work, random pick.

Won a video game tournament back in the mid-90s that got me a free all-expenses paid trip to Fort Lauderdale, won over $300 worth of games, a Game Gear, and one years free rentals from Blockbuster.

Never won any money because I don't play the lottery.
