Chicken Wings - Drums or Flats?

I'm cool with both, but prefer flats. Mainly because there's no gristle.

Boneless doesn't even register on the scale. I'll admit I've had boneless at times for the convenience factor, but they are not nearly as good of a vessel for the flavor as the actual wings are.

Edit: Funny enough, I am sitting here waiting on an order of wings as I read this thread.

Asian wings are better breaded. Buffalo, sauced. Obviously. I can mess with dry.

Asian wings are great aw well.

When I do breaded, I do breaded & blackened with a side of hot as f** sauce with some blue cheese. My mouth is watering just thinking of this.

Oh man this is a tough one

I prefer the single bite of the drum and the double bone of the flat makes it fiddly to eat comparatively but the skin on the flat is usually so much better.

Tough call

Gonna go with thigh
