So I got an email from amazon saying they think my account was compromised. They reset my password and cancelled any pending orders.

My orders weren't pending but now they are gone from my digital purchase library.

wtf.

I couldn't spoof US address because I was on Mobile and missed it. Meh.

Tbh I have been taking advantage of the $1 Gold with two accounts so it's not an issue.

Yeahhh Amazon chat said they cancelled my order. Then they told me to contact Xbox support about the cancelled order...? Not sure how they can help with Amazon's fuck up.

Crap, you're right, I apologize. Looking back, it seems I was always in the $30-$40 range and assumed i was in the $20-$30 range... My bad, this price was actually insanely good then!

If your gold is expired you will get offers such as, $1 for a month, $2 for two or $40ish for a year. These offers are completely random per account. If you do see one snatch it up quick because they might only last for 24 hours.

I've been hoping they push another promo my way. I got the year offer a month ago but it disappeared the next day when I went to purchase. :(

This happened to me in November when I tried to buy an eGift card. My account wasn't actually compromised, and thus, neither was yours, probably. What happened was Amazon tried to call me to verify the purchase since I used a new credit card, and when I didn't pick up the phone, they logged it as a fraudulent transaction. It was a pain in the butt to fix--I submitted the order three or four times before I got it to go through. They definitely need to improve order verification in this area.

I got one but I never understood those that buy like 50 (or even 3-4), like its not that much to subscribe and if you can spend $150 now you can certainly spend $60 next year.

This is where I'm at. I put my order in at 8:00AM EST on the dot. Paid with gift card balance too so it's not a CC holdup.

My order says pending on on page, but if you go and click "Order Details", is says it was refunded. I imagine it's like that for a few people still waiting.

Same here. Ordered two with my cc and got the confirmation email at 7:46am. Amazon says the order is still "processing".

Amazon Digital Services says order is still processing. Order details in the Amazon Digital Services page says it's refunded. My bank says that the charge was made and that there has been no refund issued yet. Amazon customer service representative says that Amazon never charged me and that the order was cancelled from the beginning.

I just want my money back if the order is actually cancelled.
