Here's the background story to Moon Diver, or as it's known in the Western world, Necromachina. This is my translation of the Japanese text Square Enix sent out. The official English text will probably be better.

"The boy's name was Faust.

A boy named Faust is there. By the time people realized that, most of Europe was already in flames.

The boy Faust and the army of monstrous creatures he dispatched overran all of the Earth in a moment and brought humanity to the verge of extinction.

2081, in Barcelona, beneath a solar eclipse.

The human armies have been destroyed, and the army of creatures are destroying the city as they please.

Suddenly.

Five soldiers emerge from the ruins and plot their counterattack."

And you've been sitting in a pool with too much chlorine and your glasses were at the shop, but yeah it totally looks like that.

I swear none of the enemies were doing anything. The behemoth and horse looking bosses moved around, but everything else were so lifeless.

The screen seems so crowded with four players...

Looks more like two Player co-op at most, as there is not enough going on to actively engage all four players.

Awesome, I'm definitely interested. Do we have any info re: framerate (30/60?) resolution (720/1080?) and the online (drop in/invites/etc?)?

So, Parish posted on his Twitter that this game is by the creator of Strider. Did some digging, and it's true. Kouichi Yotsui is directing this game, while Feel Plus is developing. Of course, he also made Suzuki Bakahatsu soooo.... :lol

Looks fun, putting it on my radar. The colors are kind of annoying, but I guess it's intentional to tell the players apart.

I have to agree with ya. Trailer looked very busy. But ill give it the benefit of the doubt. It looks good, i want to try it.

This game looks freaking awesome.

I was just thinking the other day that I wanted to play Strider 2 again. This looks like it will do the trick.

Square-Enix is really stepping up their game.

Knowing Sony at least, they will push the dev to support 1080p at the very least.

The beginning part of the music in that trailer reminded me of Cheetahmen's theme song :p

Saw a trailer for Crescent Pale Mist today and it made me think of this game. Has this been cancelled? Wasn't it supposed to be out this year? Anyone know anything?
