You cannot apply cart discount codes to pre orders anymore on PSN, since pre orders bypass the cart and when you pre order it you get directly charged for that one single item with no cart interaction.

Seems there's an ongoing thread at the Playstation US forums about people not getting the newsletter, and Sony support is actively avoiding the issue on there and the AskPlaystation twitter. Something is very wrong here.

Nah the code was only valid until last Friday. Have to wait for the next round of codes to be sent out.
