NINTENDO DOWNLOAD HIGHLIGHTS NEW DIGITAL CONTENT FOR NINTENDO SYSTEMS - NOV. 29, 2012

Nov. 29, 2012

This week's Nintendo Download includes the following featured content:

Nintendo eShop

AERO PORTER™ – LEVEL-5 and Yoot Saito team up to bring you AERO PORTER, an airport simulation and puzzle game that will have you sorting luggage, expanding your airport's operations and avoiding security mishaps. It's your job to put your airport on the map and help it grow from a sleepy regional terminal to a bustling international hub. (For Nintendo 3DS™)

PAC-MAN® – Control iconic character Pac-Man as you navigate through mazes, eating Pac-Dots and simultaneously avoiding devious ghosts. Warp from one edge of the maze to the other using tunnels, or eat a Power Pellet to turn the tables and make the ghosts vulnerable. Earn extra points to achieve the high score and see how far you can get before losing all your lives. (For Nintendo 3DS)

Nintendo eShop and Nintendo DSiWare™

Invasion of the Alien Blobs! – A mysterious alien life form has appeared from outer space and is raging war against humanity. Use your stylus to take a stand against the invasion by squashing the alien blobs one at a time. With just 10 seconds to deal with each attack wave, you have no time for sightseeing as you travel the globe to fight off the blobs. (For Nintendo 3DS / Nintendo DSi™)

Bloons® TD 4 – The monkeys are ready to take down the enemy from land, air and sea in this classic tower defense game. Using a ranking system, you can build up your experience and gain access to powerful towers and upgrades like mortar strikes and banana farms. Can you battle through all 75 rounds to earn the gold medal? (For Nintendo 3DS / Nintendo DSi)

To view this week's Nintendo Download in its full graphical version, please visit: http://www.news2know.net/nintendo/downloadc4zzB1tY.php.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balance by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii U eShop or the Nintendo 3DS eShop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

Remember that Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo DSi feature parental controls that let adults manage some of the content their children can access. For more information about this and other features, visit http://www.nintendo.com/wiiu, http://www.nintendo.com/wii, http://www.nintendo.com/3ds or http://www.nintendo.com/ds.

Well I got a $20 eShop card from oatmeal, (my Secret Santa) so I'll be spending more time reading releases and impressions in this thread.

Most likely it will go to Crashmo and Ikachan when I finish the games I have now.

I've been on a Pacman kick recently playing CE on PSN. Just curious, is the recent "port" worth it?

Whats wrong with it?

Did you play CE or CE DX? I thought CE was weak, but CE DX is one of the best downloadable games released this gen.

*edit* Oh crap, you got me thinking that CE/DX was coming to 3DS. It's just regular Pac Man...for 4.99. Lame.

Another week with no demos in the NA eShop? How on earth do we keep getting situations like the Adventure Time demo being "confirmed" for Nov. 15 or the Rayman Legends demo being "confirmed" for Wii U launch?

Looking forward to not only Denpa Men finally but mostly being able to play my Wii U in a few hours. :D Still not sure what I want to get from the shop but I usually celebrate a new console release with something at least.

Count yourself lucky, Europe's still missing stuff like the Epic Mickey demo & Lego LotR.

Sleep mode'ing the Denpa Men demo now! Looking forward to it to be honest. £7.19 feels a little bit steep, but again I can't see anything at retail worth buying this Christmas.

It's DX. Man, what a fun game.

Well, CE is on the 3DS as part of Dimensions.

the funny thing is that Picross E2 has been rated for EU/AUS

Our lack of that release actually got me to go back and re-pickup Picross DS and Picross 3DS since I had never done any of the DLC for those games, so that's a plus. But still, come on!

What's up with this new trend of the 3DS eShop updating a few minutes after noon and not at noon sharp? :p

Downloadin' Aero Porter.

It's not arcade perfect

What's not like the arcade in it? Have the game on NES, and, like Tetris, would love to have this game on the go. I need a good reason not to buy it, I think. :)

and the money would be better spent towards either CE or other games.

Have CE DX on XBLA, and it was fun. It's not portable, though. Downloadable Tetris was a must-buy to have it everywhere and downloadable NES Pac-Man seems to be in the same vein to me. Curious what was not okay about it, though.
