Checked the quote and it's from a piece covering a demonstration leading up to the games release. Polygon did not review next gen Madden as far as I can tell. That's where EA Sports is currently at regarding next gen.
Between EA and MS, I wonder from which master Polygon receives the biggest moneyhat from? I wonder what would happen if there's a conflict between EA and MS, which master will Polygon be more loyal for?

Anyone thinking about downloading the demo, don't. You will hate yourself. It's not worth even a morbid curiosity.
It graphically looks like a mid tier 360 game, and it simply doesn't play that well either.
It didn't crash my PS4, so I guess there's that. But this demo had the honor of being the very first thing I deleted off my console. Grats EA!
