Ordered a New 3DS off of eBay. It was having trouble reading the SD card so I figured I would pop off the back faceplate and make sure it was in right before contacting the seller. Turns out one of the screws was completely stripped. I tried using a rubber band to help get leverage but that didn't work. Any advice?

A power drill? If it's a hard surface. Not sure what to do with plastic surface.

On black friday i picked up stripped screw removers, sounds like what you need. I have had success with a pair of pliers if you can manage you grab onto the screw, whereas the rubber band method doesnt really work for me

That is considered damaged, you should be eligible for a refund. If seller refuses then go through eBay.

Stripped screws are a nightmare. I had to deal with one on my PS4 hard drive caddy.

I ended up super gluing shit to it and using pliers.

The pliers/superglue stuff seems tough to do given the small size and the fact the screw doesn't actually come out

Put a flat rubber band over the screw and screw through that.
