Tragic. But i don't see why the dude can't get a reply that tells that she doesn't really like him. It's such a simple thing to do. Ignoring someone who has strong feelings for you is not the way to go, it's just so extremely cruel. Apparently, it can also go terribly wrong.
I once thought I got ignored (Sent a few texts, but no reply), but it turned out the girl had an mental illness that gave her extreme social phobia and had her self comitted to a mental institution. Somehow...i feel my advances is what pushed her over the edge.

He is undeniably trolling. He said about 50 emails the first 2 days, 600 emails total in 3 days. Even if the third day was only 300 emails. Assuming he is awake for about 16 hours, that's an email every 3 minutes for the entire day. Impossible.

I believe in my heart that Densha Otoko was real, after reading all the materials involved, and coming to the conclusion that there really just wasn't any profit in faking the thing when the show and movie were gone just as fast as any other J-Drama on the air.
