At this point Microsoft is trolling themselves and considering they have chosen to spread lies and FUD as their strategy, I think there's no reason why people should be kind without calling them out ;)

It doesn't really matter if the xbox is less powerful. We've had systems with different power levels in the past. PS2 was still selling like crazy when the original Xbox came out.

Fair enough, but I can't criticize these anonymous sources.

Did they all just say "Yeah it's probably, uh, 50% faster. Yeah, 50%". What a perfect number. How convenient. And, again, what a great attribute. 50% faster. What is it faster at doing? I dunno, it's just faster.

I have no idea what it's supposed to mean. 50% faster ... ok, fine. What next? Is the PS4 23% better? 19.5% more fun?

The PS4 is significantly more powerful, significantly cheaper, significantly smaller, and both release at (almost) the same time. Do you, honestly, not see the difference?

It certainly matters in this case, otherwise PR like Ponello and Horyb wouldn't be so furiously defending their low-powered machine.

In the end Sony & MS can talk all the bs they want, but the devs know the truth and if they say PS4 is more powerful, PS4 is more powerful.

I've never played a Killzone game, how does that compare to Halo in terms of Gameplay? Not really concerned about looks.

I'm not trying to stir anything up. I've only got the PS4 preordered. I'm just saying, for some people it might not matter. If the Call of Duty xbox guys like xbox, they're still going to buy the xbox one regardless of power.

It's a piece of technology, at it's most basic, it crunches numbers.... one does this around 50% faster, what's so confusing about that?

You sure are performing a great deal of mental gymnastics trying to obfuscate a very clear statement. Do you really not understand what one means when someone describes the speed of various bits of hardware?

Dude, I got both preordered and I actually like them equally. What I do have is eyes. I just want to see this advantage in actual games. Show me the games. It would make my decision easier if Sony had shown either a launch game or up coming games that clearly so this massive graphically advantage. I mean damn "Sony World Wide Studios". If its really XBone, PS3, XB360<PS4 it shouldn't have been that hard to produce something graphically better than Knack. Or are we looking at a situation of diminishing returns over 1Tflop.

Of course it matters. I bought all the multiplats I could on the Xbox and the Xbox 360.
This gen, it appears that it's going to be the opposite, and that's a big deal, at least for me.

Why did MS even start talking about specs again? A few small upclocks wasn't going to close the gap nearly enough. Them continuing to damage control the power delta between the One and PS4 is just shining more light into how underpowered the One is in comparison to the PS4. And now with this tweet out, it only makes MS look more foolish and scummy.

You're missing the price difference. PS4 is 100 dollars cheaper.

Killzone is more deliberate than Halo, although impressions point to Shadow Fall speeding things up a bit. There's no jumping like in Halo or vehicles. There are abilities similar to the ones in Halo. And people die way faster in Killzone.

What do you want some sort of graph and documentation to go along with his tweet?

Take it for what it is...it's 50% faster. Last I checked, in the computing world, faster = better. So take that as you will.

There's a key to your argument. PS2 was already selling like crazy when the original xbox came out. PS2 had an incredible headstart and brand power. Of course a console released over a year later has better specs. That's to be expected. But PS2 was already selling like crazy.

That's not the situation this time at all. And there is no year+ time difference to account for the spec difference.
