I think Deep Down looks better than the Elemental demo, and it's multiplatform to boot so I don't know why Sony fans would exclusively be invested in it.

Luckily a lof of publishers have moved to their own inhouse engines over the last couple years, so we should see a good amount of that going forward.

Elemental demo was a more impressive showcase than Deep Down. It was really demonstrating some heavy hitter particle effects that the latter didn't have much of (in comparison).

You're comparing an engine running on existing hardware to hardware that devs don't even have the final version of yet. It's kind of an unfair comparison.

just watched the pc + Ps4 version side by side and yes, its downgraded but if you didn't know, the ps4 version still looks great

I thought the fire effects shown in Deep Down looked quite a bit more impressive than anything shown in that epic demo....

If you accept that this is the peak performance for both systems, sure, but it's obviously not.

They both look good to me. Of course the PC version looks better but that is to be expected and I'm surprised to whoever is surprised by it.

you're just delusional, games don't improve as time goes by. this looks like a souped up ps3 demo, and you know it. that's what you're gonna get from ps4 and that's it!
But I'm pretty sure Gametrailers analyzed the shit out of it and came to the conclusion that was all in-game (not gameplay though)
