360 Piracy has been around for years yet the high profile releases still sell in the millions. I guess the same could be said for the PC though.

I'm in the camp which doesn't really mind having the story of a Gears game spoiled, though I won't go out of my way to learn what happens either. It's sort of like a rollercoaster, you already know you'll go up high then drop, maybe there's a loop or two along the way but you're really there for the experience of it more than the details.

I want to see it just for missing effects and bugs, developers almost never show that stuff even when the games has gotten released.

Just watched the first 15 minutes.
Game looks incredible. Same old fantastic Gears gameplay but with a new coat of paint. Has to be one of the nicest looking games on any console. What a way to open the game as well, the team at Epic really are second to none when it comes to game pacing and overall design structure.
I honestly think the leak will only do wonders for Epic. Even with the numourous bugs present it's really looking incredible, I'd almost rebuy an 360 for this.

I'm in the SP only category with very occasional MP (Co-op). I always enjoy a decent story in the very, very few games that have that. Gears story is OK. It's not horrendous. It's not worse than Halo (to me).

wasnt this game delayed 6 months due to MS needed a big shooter exclusive for holiday and not because the game wouldn't make its first date?
I would think the game has been basically finished for months. at the most they are probably just fiddling with things back at epic.

Just saw a YouTube video of the campaign and I'm blown away by the graphics. It far surpasses anything we even saw in the Beta. Pretty spectacular stuff...
For comparison I switched back and forth between and a Gears 1 video and 3 and it seemed as if they almost came out on different consoles.
Amazing how much games have changed in the same generation, the quality far surpasses anything we saw in 2005.

I guess I'm one of the few who was actually intrigued a bit by how the story left off in Gears 2. I kind of want to know what the deal is with the Sires, why the Queen is a human, and what Marcus' dad's cryptic message after the credits meant.
I thought the story in Gears 2 was actually pretty decent compared to other shooters out there.
