It's more just because Famitsu is basically a joke to everyone at this point, regardless of the score.
If anything, I'm more inclined to believe a 39/40 than a 40/40. XD

NSMBWii and NSMBU are ridiculously underrated, I'll agree. Wii was such a marked improvement over the original on DS. Everything about it was better.
That said, NSMBU is the perfection of the formula and a proper sendoff for that branch of Mario games.

We live in the timeline where Odyssey isn't awarded a perfect score yet Final Fantasy XIII-2 and fucking New Super Mario Bros. Wii is awarded one.
Not really. I can't speak to Forza but Fifa is a really really good game: hugely repayable, great looking and lots of depth. Just cos they release it every year doesn't mean its not good.
