Well this is stupid. >:|
Amazon won't let me use Payments for my bundle because there's a charity component, but I'm pretty damn sure Humble Bundle uses Amazon Payments. We're set up the same way, we're doing the same thing, I don't see why they get away with it.
Now that I think about it, didn't Humble Bundle have some problems with Amazon at some point? Maybe they somehow reached an agreement.
Stumpo might be a little disappointed in me for this (as if the shitty servers weren't reason enough), but- a couple artists in the Indie Allstars bundle wanted to unload some swag and CDs, so the top contributors as of the end of the bundle will be offered some CDs and t-shirts and the like. Everyone on the leaderboard gets prizes, but so do a bunch of people not on the leaderboard, so it's not like you have to dish out huge amounts to get some CDs.
"Indie Royale - the ALL-CHARITY LIGHTNING PACK" just launched.
Features:
- Osmos
- B.U.T.T.O.N.
- The Shivah
- Blueberry Garden

Build a bundle is out
the steam key for Darkling Room Dark Fall: Lost Souls does not appear at the moment but the rest seem to work.
Humble Bundle seems to be the only people who understand bundles, with quality games and actually allowing you to pay as you please.

Yeah, but they have effectively crippled the bundle (no Steam key, no BTA games) if you pay below a certain amount or below the average. And they've started repeating some games, too.
Is the $5 minimum not a permanent change? I was under the impression that it was.The $1 minimum for Steam keys seems fair to me (though it was raised to $5 for Botanicula as it was it's release date), but I agree that the beat-the-average system is incredibly annoying and defeats the purpose of a pay-what-you-want bundle.

So, what's the word on the new new Build a Bundle games? I think I'm going to buy Diamond Dan, Lightfish and NecrovisioN or Dark Fall: Lost Souls, is any of them pure crap?
The build a bundle page layout is pretty confusing and doesn't give great info: does every one of these games activate on Steam? I see it mentioned a few posts up about one of the games being on Steam but I honestly couldn't find info on the site if every game did or not.
I am thinking about it for Sideway New York alone, always thought that game looked kinda neat.
If you click on a game it should say at the bottom of the blurb if it's drm free or steam key.
Cool, thanks! Didn't notice them because they are in the same paragraph as the blurb about the game.
Guess I will get Sideway, just need to decide on two others. Haven't even heard of half of these games tbh.
Did anybody else who purchased a bundle containing Dark Fall: Lost Souls not get a steam key? My friend bought a bundle but it only has an .exe file download. The main page says that it's a steam key + drm-free download.
I'm a lot less impressed by Bundle in a Box than I thought I would be based on all the time and effort the guy seemed to be putting into getting it ready.
Well for the price it's not a horrible bundle, the issue is that the big draw games (the steam games) have previously been featured in bundles. I am curious to see how much the min price drops once they hit 500 sales though.
Because We May price drops starting to take effect.
I'll make a thread for it in the morning if noone else does, but anyone feel free to steal my thunder if they desire.
I like how some developers have them higher then the RRP from their own stores for the heck of it. Like the $99.99 game.
