Game 1, Keuchel through 2 innings: 30 total pitches, 23 fastballs, 17 fastballs 90mph+
Game 5, Keuchel through 2 innings: 28 total pitches, 21 fastballs, 3 fastballs 90mph+

Game 1: Keuchel was hitting 90mph on his fastball consistently through first 3 innings

Keuchel averaged less than 90 mph on his patented two-seamer in this game, par for the course for the starting pitcher with the fifth-slowest heater in the majors this year

Do you have "first 3 innings" data?
Either way, "fifth-slowest heater in the majors this year" - obviously fastball speed isn't a big part of his game.

Astros are toast. We may get lucky and win game 6 with Verlander but game 7 the Yankees will take pretty easily since Morton will probably start and the bullpen is garbage

I corrected myself to first 2 innings. Data is from MLB.com Gameday. I'm comparing it to Baseball Savant right now and they don't have the same data. Baseball Savant even says Keuchel averaged 90.1mph on his fastballs in Game 1 so I have no idea who to believe. Probably BS.

Fuck. It seems like my hunch about the Yankees winning it all was true. Pack it up. Smells like another 3-peat. See you in 2020

Joe Six-Pack: posting for the common man
said it last night, but this series is over. Astros bats are colder than a witches tit in winter.
